NAACP sets up website to track activities of the Tea Party

I must have slept like Rip Van Winkle for a few decades – I woke up this morning asking, “Where is America?” What happened to my freedom loving, free speech, kinda nation?

It was announced yesterday that the NAACP along with organizations like those listed below have set up a website to track and report on Tea Party activities in an effort to discredit them. My, the power the Tea Party must be generating for them to take such measures. Do they think this will stop Americans from speaking out on behalf of their nation? If somebody don’t throw some cold water on this situation and soon, it could become volatile.

As a parent and grandparent, I do not want to see this day by day destruction of our nation; our children deserve better and they are going to have to live in the mess we leave behind.

Atlanta was known in the sixties as the “City too busy to hate!” Let us become the “Nation that is too busy to hate.”

“Think Progress,” (Think Progress is a blog edited by Shakir that "provide[s] a forum that advances progressive ideas and policies).

“New Left Media” (Chase Whiteside and Erick Stoll, the two young journalists behind “New Left Media,” tell attendees at Tea Party and other conservative rallies that they are student journalists working on a school project in order to get them to talk openly on camera about their beliefs.) The two were most recently at the Lincoln Memorial on Saturday for Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally, where some of those they interviewed were seemingly misled by the pair.) See video below

“Media Matters” (Media Matters initially received "more than $2 million in donations from wealthy liberals" with ties to the Democratic party (including Peter Lewis of Progressive Insurance, Steve Bing, Marcy Carsey, Susie Tompkins Buell, Leo Hindrey, Gail Furman, and James Hormel) and "was developed with help from the newly formed Center for American Progress".[

Together with these liberal organizations, the NAACP has put up a new website called Teapartytracker.org. They are keeping tabs and putting every little thing they see on this website. http://www.teapartytracker.org/ There is a video here of interviews with the people who attended Glenn Beck’s Honor Rally. This will accomplish little except to inflame. These interviews lied about who they were. They posed as students working on a school project. They were undercover people. Does this begin to sound like Germany before World War II? Will this come down to where we cannot even trust our own family members?

Their theme: "A watched pot (teapot) never boils." They seem to think if they watch the Tea Party, they will not say or do anything. Well, just hang around long enough and just see how hot a pot can get when it does finally come to a full boil. This type of activity could quickly get out or hand and cause a lot of harm to a lot of people.

They are going to track racism within the Tea Party rallies. They are asking for “volunteer” snitches, photographers, those with video cameras and phones in their shoes to report back to KOAS (Chaos) with their spying reports. Let’s get real – let’s “Get Smart.”

Let’s get smart and see what this is all about. No matter what they put on their website it is only making them look like the racists. We live together in this nation as multi-racial. Blacks and whites live next door to each other, work together, send their kids to school together, form friendships together; and some even marry each other and their children are bi-racial.

This is not very “smart” by trying to put wedges between these relationships. Our children have both black and white teachers; and these kinds of activities can drive this nation back a hundred years if we are not “smart” enough to say, “We shall overcome.” We shall overcome the politics of some who would put this nation in jeopardy in order to support their political party.

Let’s “Get Smart,” and not fall for what they are trying to do in this nation; and perhaps even the NAACP is being used for the ultimate goal of turning America into a socialistic/communist form of government. What kinds of people do not love our country, our freedom, and our way of life that they would destroy it for their own agenda? Let’s “Get Smart,” and refuse to allow this to happen in our country. Hug a person of a different race today. Tell them that this is not about race; but our freedom.

It is time we support each other as Americans, all races coming together, to defend our democracy and our freedoms. Black, white, Hispanic, and other races of our young men and women are dying together daily in war; and all we can do back here is set up websites to further political agendas; and to cause strife in our nation?

We had better “Get Smart,” really quick and see what the socialist agenda is all about. Push back the people, make them feel helpless, and inferior; and then use them against each other for their goal of overthrowing our democracy for a communist government. All that glitters is not gold; and all that live among us are not true Americans. Those who are - remind me of the little song the children sing – are they smarter than we are? “Red and yellow; black and white, they are precious in HIS sight.”

Those who are in charge of the Tea Party groups have repeated over and over that they are not about racism; but about taxes, the economy, and job loss and the way the nation is headed toward socialism. This is for all peoples who live here legally no matter their race, creed, religion, or national origin. Don’t let them do this to America. We need to “think” for ourselves and not be led by what others say on either side that is harmful to our country.

This is the Saul Alinsky rule number whatever: Rule, isolate, and attack.

What gives them the right to track anyone? There used to be laws against wire tapping and such; but what about harassment at a legal gathering of US Citizens who have the right to express their views and ideas – at least they did as of yesterday.

Now enters the auditions for the actors who will be uninvited guest at the Tea Parties spouting out their bitter bile. This is just a set up for that.

This is not about race as such. This is about the elections and the impact the Tea Party is having on our national political scene. This is an effort on their part to keep the Tea Party from becoming any more effective. The Tea Party is for all people.

Isn’t this what Dr. King wanted – for all people to come together under God and be judged by the content of their heart and not the color of their skin? If the NAACP continues and the counterparts continue, this nation will be like Abraham Lincoln said, “A nation divided against itself can no longer stand.” That is the purpose of all these groups – to see America fall. And when it does, it won’t matter what our race is; we will go down with it as well.

Wouldn't it been nice that after their respective rallies in Washington, they could have joined in with each other in honoring our country and Dr. King? But of course, they couldn't - they were on different sides politically.

News flash: Those who are part of the Tea Party Movement are wise to these tactics; and it will only motivate them more to change what is happening to our nation and this is just another plank in their platform. When they stand for honor, decency, patriotism, and things like the economy, and joblessness, they are standing for every man, woman, and child in this nation no matter what color they may be. It is time this nation had a party that is truly of the people. Time to pass over those who are not honorable and trustworthy on both sides of the aisle.

What could the Tea Party do to prove their point more? They stand for all Americans. So what if some racist fools attend these gatherings – they have a right as long as they are law abiding. Each person must stand and give an account for themselves and their actions cannot be divided and shared by the whole. And one day, we will all stand before a Holy God and give account for not what others do; but for what we do.

Ever hear the Rev. Jeremiah Wright speak? How about Louis Farrakhan? Yes, yes, yes, there are racist in this country and probably always will be as long as we are not smart enough to continue doing the right thing and allowing them to be ignored. Many times radio talk show host are off the wall and are racist – on both sides. Are we going to allow them to drag us down their path? Or will we stand for America?

And when it comes to racism, isn’t this like the kettle calling the pot black? The nation sat before their TV and saw the black dude ranting and raving about white people and even harming white babies. What about those with billy clubs standing out in front of the voting place?

Christ said, “Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.” Not a one of us had one fig to do with what race we were born into. Not a one of us can do one fig of a thing to change what and who we are according to race; but we can all be all that God created us to be as individuals and the rest will take care of itself. We can accept our differences as small and all work together for the good of us all.

Is this present bickering what we want in our nation? A thousand times no. Not all black people are Black Panthers; and not all White people belonged to or adhered to the KKK.

I personally believe that Dr. Martin Luther Kings is turning over in his grave at the thought of what the NAACP is attempting to do which will only stir up anything but peaceful means of communication. Do we want to become a divided nation with races, religions, and politics defining who we are? No a thousand times no. That is why the Constitution is such a divine and strong document by which this nation has flourished under for centuries.

Has the gleam in the eyes of people become so politically motivated that they have lost all vestiges of common sense; and common decency?

They are hoping that people will drop their signs, throw away their T-shirts and go quietly into the sunset with the tail between their legs. There are some people who just like to stir up trouble and then sit back and watch the fray. The fray may be more of a price than anyone wants to pay.

How long will it be before some off the wall group will set up a counter spying ring against the NAACP? And then another group spying on them?

Their site will reveal Tweets, blog entries, slogans on t-shirts and even interviews with people at the rallies. How would we know if any of these people are plants?

There was a claim that a Black Congressman was spat on and while a huge reward has been offered to anyone who can give proof this happened it has gone unclaimed.

Okay, you’ve got a group of thousands of people. These people have not been screened by the FBI and anyone can attend. And as long as they are not rioting or breaking the law in anyway, they have a right to say anything they want to even make racist remarks. Since when was free speech a hate crime in and of itself? Perhaps acting upon such might be. Let’s face it - there are just despicable people living among us. Spitting on someone is despicable no matter the race; and it does not always mean it is because of one’s race; but perhaps their policies; none the less, unacceptable and despicable.

If people want to really catch people acting out; all they need do is monitor some of their own websites, blogs, and put a few secret cameras in some the their own rallies and meetings. There is plenty to go around.

Are we in the Fall Season of our nation, where the tree of liberty is losing its leaves one by one?

There is a lot more at stake here than one race trying to catch another in a trap as being racist. This kind of thing is destroying our nation; and we and our children all stand to lose – lose our democracy, our freedoms, and God forbid another Civil War. This will surely stir the sauce of hatred among some people and let us all come together and pray that this kind of stuff will stop. Our enemies are just waiting, watching, and preparing for the day when we weaken our nation to where they can just come right on in the front door. Let's us weigh our words before we say thing and weigh them according to God's Word and the Golden Rule.
