Health Care Nightmare - Part two

Dr. Stephen Fraser’s open letter to  Senator Bayh.

Let’s take a closer look at this bill. With his permission you may copy the research in this letter, putting in your own concerns, and use it to send to your representatives. This is his letter. He has made a stand. We, as Americans, need to take a stand against this tyranny. Those Senators up for re-election will have a more listening ear. Contact them now. Don’t put it off and forget about it.

Dr. Fraser wrote a personal e-mail intended for some of his colleagues which got forwarded all across America – he said the response had been great. He graciously re-edited his letter for public use and gave me permission to use it here. Take advantage of his expertise and research to share this information to help get House Bill 3200 defeated, scrapped, and the board wiped clean for a new start in helping Americans - and like the Hippocratic Oath – “First do no harm!”

Demand changes in health care that will benefit Americans; but not tear asunder the many decades of progress made in medicine to help those in need of medical care.   We are being sold a “bill of goods.” My Daddy always said, “Never buy a pig in a poke.” He meant that we should always demand to see the pig.   Many have seen this pig and they don’t like it and suggest that we don’t buy it.

DATE:     July 30, 2009

TO:          Senator Bayh

FROM:    Dr. Stephen Fraser

Dear Senator Bayh,

As a practicing physician, I have major concerns with the health care bill (HR 3200) before Congress. I spent the last week reading this bill, which at over 1000 pages isquite difficult to get through. Have you read it? I'm shocked by the brazenness of the government’s intrusion into the patient-physician relationship. I'm especially concerned about the creation of a central committee to decide medical coverage decisions.

Every physician and nurse I work with agree that we need to fix our health care system. Our Presidents statement last week in his health care press conference that physicians are likely to make a patient care decision based on reimbursement rather than a patient's best interest is not helpful in moving this discussion forward.

As an anesthesiologist. I'm responsible for life and death decisions on a daily basis. I always have my patient's best interests at heart and I'm sure my physician colleagues around the country do as well.

I ask you respectfully (and as a patriotic American) to look at the following troubling sections I've read in the bill. How can the following be in the best interests of the country and our fellow citizens?

Section 123 HEALTH CARE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

"A committee composed of 18 President-appointed individuals and 8 Federal employees (26 non-elected citizens) to consist of providers, consumer representatives, employers, labor, health insurance issuers, experts in health care financing and delivery, experts in racial and ethnic disparities, experts in care for those with disabilities, representatives of relevant governmental agencies and AT LEAST ONE practicing physician OR other health professional and an expert on children’s health."

This group will set coverage for the country...and other than the surgeon general, a physician is not even guaranteed to be on the committee. Is our country ready to let 25 or more non-elected, non-physicians make these decisions? This is a direct intrusion into patient care and I for one do not want a community organizer to have input on what type of care my patients can receive.

Section 141 HEALTH CARE COMMISSIONER

The health care advisory committee will report to the Health Care Commissioner, another non-elected Presidential appointee who will make the final decisions for the nation healthcare benefits.

Section 246 SUBSIDIES FOR UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS

"Nothing in this subtitle shall allow Federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States."

This states that taxpayer subsidies will not be given to illegal aliens to obtain coverage but says nothing about preventing them from obtaining healthcare in the US.  Under current law NO patient, illegal or otherwise can be turned away from an ER if urgent care is needed. Section 152 states that "all health care and related services

Language translation and linguistic appropriate services is mandated. This seems to apply to undocumented individuals as well.

Section 205

The government will use community organizations to sign up eligible citizens for health plans...Do you support using an indicted organization like ACORN to do this?

Section 225 PROVIDER PARTICIPATION

This section states that Physician salaries will be dictated on an annual basis. How can you support taking over the livelihood of all physicians and dictating the terms? This is pure socialism and to call it anything else is disingenuous.

Section 131 REQUIRING FAIR MARKETING PRACTICES BY HEALTH INSURERS

This section gives the government veto power over advertising by private companies. Again this is an example of socialism where the government decides what the public is allowed to be told. How can you support this?

SEC. 312. EMPLOYER RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS
EMPLOYEE AND DEPENDENT COVERAGE.

This Bill mandates employer-paid coverage for part-time employees and families which will be a huge burden for small businesses. Overall, the compliance regulations and associated costs for physicians, employers and insurance providers is enormous. Also random audits are authorized with the full cost of the audit to be paid by the person or entity being audited. Do you support random, costly intrusions into physician's offices?

Section 431 DISCLOSURES TO CARRY OUT SUBSIDIES

The Health care commissioner and others in government will have full access to your tax returns. On Pages 58 and 195 "Govt will have real-time access to individuals finances & a National ID Healthcard will be issued! Officers & employees of HC Administration will have access to ALL Americans finances /personal records." Quite an intrusion of privacy.

Section 1128H

Under Medicare, every prescribed drug, device or medical supply has to be disclosed to the government or a penalty of 10,000 to 100,000 dollars applies. Just think of the cost of complying with this rule.

Section 1501

The health commissioner will approve expansion of physician  residency training positions with preference being given to primary care and disadvantaged applicantsDo you want the best and brightest to be our future doctors or those selected by the government? This section also suggests that specialty positions will not be expanded. This will lead to a diminishing specialist base and a loss in quality care. The obvious intention is to limit specialist care and I think the country needs to be aware of this.

SEC. 155. SEVERABILITY.

"If any provision of this Act, or any application of such provision to any person or circumstance, is held to be unconstitutional, the remainder of the provisions of this Act and the application of the provision to any other person or circumstance shall not be affected."

Why put this in? Do you think the bill is so radical that you are trying to block the Supreme Court from striking it down?

Section 1233 ADVANCE CARE PLANNING CONSULTATION (pages
424-431)

Page 425 Lines 4-12: Govt mandates Advance Care Planning Consult. Think Senior Citizens end of life patients

Page 425 Lines 17-19: Govt will instruct & consult regarding living wills, durable powers of attorney. This is mandatory!

Page 425 Lines 22-25, 426 Lines 1-3: Govt provides approved list of end of life resources, guiding you in death. (Assisted suicide?)

Page 427 Lines 15-24: Govt mandates program for orders for end of life. The Govt has a say in how your life ends.

Page 429 Lines 1-9: An "advanced care planning consultant will be used frequently as patients health deteriorates.

Page 429 Lines 10-12: "advanced care consultation" may include an ORDER for end of life plans. AN ORDER from GOVT!

Page 429 Lines 13-25: The govt will specify which Doctors can write an end of life order.

Page 430 Lines 11-15: The Govt will decide what level of treatment you will have at end of life!

This is a very troubling section and I can't believe AARP is supporting this bill. Most health care expense is in the last year of one's life. It sounds like the government is set to ration care to our elderly. Do you support this?

Other troubling sections I discovered: Page 65 Sec 164: Describes a subsidized plan for retirees and their families in Unions & community organizations. Why the special treatment?

Page 84 Sec 203 HC bill: Govt mandates ALL benefit packages for private HC plans in the Exchange.

Page 85 Line 7 HC Bill: Specifications for of Benefit Levels for Plans = The Govt will ration your Healthcare!

Page 85 Line 7 HC Bill: Specifications of Benefit Levels for Plans. AARP members - your Health care WILL be rationed.

Page 102 Lines 12-18 HC Bill: Medicaid Eligible Individuals will be automatically enrolled in Medicaid. No choice.

Page 124 lines 24-25 HC: No company can sue GOVT on price fixing. No "judicial review" against Govt Monopoly.

Page 203 Line 13-15 HC: "The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax"  Yes, it says that!

Page 265 Sec 1131: Govt mandates & controls productivity for private HC industries.

Page 268 Sec 1141: Federal Govt regulates rental & purchase of power driven wheelchairs.

Page 272 SEC. 1145: TREATMENT OF CERTAIN CANCER HOSPITALS

Cancer patients - welcome to rationing!

Page 280 Sec 1151: The Govt will penalize hospitals for whatever Govt deems preventable re-admissions. Good outcome is never guaranteed! This is a crazy rule!

Page 317 L 13-20: PROHIBITION on ownership/investment. Government tells Doctors what/how much they can own!

Page 317-318 lines 21-25, 1-3: PROHIBITION on expansion- Govt is mandating hospitals cannot expand. On page 321 Hospitals have an opportunity to apply for exception BUT community input is required. Will ACORN have a say in this?

Page 335 L 16-25 Pg 336-339: Govt mandates establishment of outcome based measures. HC the way they want. Rationing.

Page 341 Lines 3-9: Govt has authority to disqualify Medicare Advance Plans, HMOs, etc. Forcing people into Govt plan.

Page 354 Sec 1177: Govt will RESTRICT enrollment of Special needs people! Unbelievable!

Page 379 Sec 1191: Govt creates more bureaucracy - Tele-health Advisory Committee. Can you say HC by phone?

Page 469: Community Based Home Medical Services = Non profit organizations. Hello, ACORN Medical Services here!!?

Page 472 Lines 14-17: PAYMENT TO COMMUNITY-BASED ORIGINATION. 1 monthly payment to a community-based organization. Like ACORN?

Page 489 Sec 1308: The Govt will cover Marriage & Family therapy. Which means they will insert Govt into your marriage.

Page 494-498: Govt will cover Mental Health Services  including defining, creating, rationing those services.

As for the dangers, costs, and failure of electronic communication upon which this bill is dependent on, the following article must be studied: The computerization of Britain's National Health Service has been an expensive fiasco. Why does Obama want to emulate it?

It is also apparent that the Congress will not require themselves to use the public plan as required for most Americans. Why the double standard?

Senator,

1) I guarantee that I personally will do everything possible to inform patients and my fellow physicians about the dangers of this bill.

2) Our amazing country was not founded on the socialist principles that make up this bill.

3) There are many other ideas and policies that could be adopted that will not destroy the good aspects of our current health system and cover those who currently are without coverage

4) I implore you to use a nonpartisan mind to consider these other options.

5) If you vote for a bill that destroys private medicine and the doctor-patient relationship, I will do everything in my power to make sure you and other supporters of this flawed bill lose your job in the next election.

Respectfully,

Stephen E Fraser MD

Now that you have had a closer look at the “package,” you need today without fail to contact your representatives and insist that they scrap this bill NOW.   There is a scripture in the Bible that tells of the responsibility of the watchman in the tower. He is to sound the alarm and warn the people; but the outcome of the attack is not laid upon him; but if he fails to sound the alarm then it is.

Many are sounding the alarm; they are the watchman in the tower, they can only sound the alarm – defending the attack it up to you. At another time and at your leisure you may want to refer back to my article about the Revolutionary War and how a little rag tag army with shovels and pitch forks – stood off the greatest army ever known at that time. That war gave us freedom – it is up to us, the American citizens, to defend that freedom not just on a foreign battlefield – but right here in America as we see our Constitution trampled more every day. These Minutemen were few in number; and ill equipped – but their mission was clear.

Our mission needs to be clear as well. It is take a stand now or fall forever. When the government takes over your bank, your insurance company, your private businesses, your schools, your homes, your food and water and now your healthcare – what is next? Complete take over of our lives while making it sound like they are your savior. Ask the Cubans how Castro came to power. Ask those in Venezuela how Chavez came to power.   Essentially, we lost all power when they took away our right to worship and pray as we see fit as guaranteed by the Constitution. Hillary Clinton once said that she would like to see America turn from Constitution Law more toward European Law.  Are you angry yet?   Good.

If the clauses in this bill do not bother you, do nothing. That is what you will get. For those of you who have representatives who are in favor of this bill, you may have an uphill battle with them. But who is more important them or your family? Remember they are supposed to work for you not against you. Don’t fall for their “bill of goods” – remember they are politicians and most will say or do anything. You do not owe them anything - they owe you everythng.

It is up to us to make a difference in our country and bring her back to the wonder that She was. IN GOD WE TRUST – not politicians.  Tell them you will check and see how they vote before the next election.   Here I will make it easy for you. http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml

Nick: Thank you for your comment. If you are really not in favor of this bill, let your representatives know where it will do the most good. Most of these points have come straight from the mouths of those who support this bill. The focus of this bill is government take over. For Dr. Fraser to complete medical school to become a successful physician does not seem like ignorance to me. The jury is still out on me. Thank you Nick for reading - for reading is knowledge.

"T" HI:I get a chuckle when I hear people who are trying to the "right" thing called "right wing." Alert. The Dems have been in power for nearly 3 years. Before that they blocked everything. If it were not for the rich giving the poor jobs where would we all be? You need to wake up and "smell" the hidden taxes. Write your reps and demand they bring our jobs back to the US. If bill passes it will cost millions of jobs and plummet wages. And this will trickle down to us. You've been safe since 9/11, huh? I researched and spent two days typing - what did you research? Too many people want something for nothing. Some can afford insurance but prefer to spend it on other things. Most, sacrifice and pay their insurance and then pay taxes for those who don't. Working people work for a living while others sit with their hand out. Not all uninsured people are poor. It is the poor we need to help and not non-citizens. Many employers are out of work = employees out of work. Got Job? be thankful

Petric - HI: Pulled up bill, scanned past jargon, went to items discussed. Did I read all 1,l17 pages no. But I will not be voting on the bill as most voting senators have not. More intelligent/ educated people than I have who have tech/med knowledge can explain this better. Dr. Fraser read it all. I spoke with him on the phone. I am merely the watchman in the tower sounding the alarm. Have you read it? Listen to the interview in Part One between the former Lt. Gov of NY and Fred Thompson? If this was a good bill why would some of Obama's party object to it?Items alarming enough; govt in charge of my health care, great concern. Docs in Iraq no sheets or scrubs. I got an e-mail from a doctor over there, contacted my Rep who assured me they would have them as soon as possible. Think Katrina, Grady Hosp, Vet hosp, Walter Reed,no privacy with elec records - even bank info. Free enterprise and lack of docs a problem. Socialism a bigger concern. I have to somewhat agree with Nick. After reading this interpretation, it inspired me to actually go the house.gov website and pull up the bill. As a nurse with a public health background, much of what is in this bill is similar to what is ALREADY in practice with Medicare and simply will provide a public option like Medicare to those without current insurance.

  • Pat 2 years ago

HI:Nann thanks for weighing in. You know more nursing than I; but I know a lot about being a patient & Medicare & private insurance. My crowd are mostly Medicare folks and that is the worry; like Medicare - so much waste and not enough "care." We need reform in health; but we do not need govt control of every aspect of our life - some read & see one thing, others another. They just need to trash this bill and start all over and stop being dishonest with folks and stop trying to push bills through when the senators have not read the thing. Look into what Tom Daschle said abt seniors and end of life patients - if it cost too much, no care; but end of life counseling. That is not for the govt to decide. Will be determined based on age and possible outcome. They have admitted that there will be rationing. But this is more about freedom. Senators for the bill said it is about total govt contrl of HC. Many jobs will be lost. Yours? Research Socialism The doc here has.Govt take over.

Nann. This is not about Medicare but also Medicaid for states. This is for young and old alike. How can Washington take care of three hundred million people when it takes thousands of insurance companies to do this?
They cannot control Medicare fraud now. It has never been the job of the federal government to take care of individuals. That is supposed to be state and local governments. When the government controls everything where will our nation be? Like Russia? China? India? Korea? No care and starvation? People in Korea die and lie in the street. Give me less health care and less government control.

I've seen this exact points in Dr. Fraser's letter and went through half of them point by point and compared it to the actual bill as found on the house.gov website. It does NOT say what this letter claims and I find it odd that these exact points with similar verbage has been passed around and attributed to different people and groups. I can understand not agreeing with the philosophy of govt healthcare, but out right lies and mistruths have to to stop. Read the bill!

ALERT: I TRACKED DR FRASER DOWN. I contacted his office at the hospital where he works and left my info with his staff. That night he called me at home and told me he had written the e-mail for his colleagues; and it got passed around - he refreshed it for public view and e-mailed it to ME. Just a little food for thought regarding this Gov't Health Care Program, if it is so good, why are the politicians exempt from participating? If it is good enough for me, why isn't it good enough for them? I think any blanket program that they pass is the same program they should be on. I bet we'd see more thought and consideration in whatever plan they come up with if they have to be on it.

I laud Dr. Fraser's enthuiasm for wading into this healthcare morass. He makes some great arguments and points out the many problems with this bill. As an anesthesiologist, I am surprised that Dr. Fraser is not supportive of his own organizations political action committee, the ASAPAC. They have been working extremely hard to fight the same battle and would better off with people like Dr. Fraser's support. It is most important that we fight this legislation as a coherent group and support the American Society of Anesthesiologists in that effort.

There is no substitute for an closed link association between a doctor and his patient. Injecting a panel appointed by the government to make decisions on your health care is ludicrous and dangerous. Adopting this bill would be a disaster for everyone including those who have never paid for health care. The public must be united and informed of the dangers here...reform our health care system and make it more economical and avaiable for everyone but do not remove quality.

HI: QuoVadisAnima - You are so very, very right. It is not the government's duty to run private business nor our private lives. They have lost their bearings when it comes to government intervention. They should be bothered about things that affect the security of our nation - like closed borders and border control - taking care of our military so that they can take care of us. This has become nothing more than a test of wills and dominance over the American people. They should be concerned with terrorist cells here in America, catching Bin Laden, prohibiting harmful products from coming into our nation and keeping our medicines, water, and products safe period. It is none of their business who we have our insurance with or who our doctor might me - they should be concerned with cleaning up Congress. Perhaps they should turn Medicare over to private insurance companies, huh?

What's wrong with socialized not for profit healthcare?
    Fire departments are socialist.
Should we let corporations run those for profit too? Imagine calling 911 and being told your coverage had been dropped because your house is too old, or your payment was overdue.

I guess the majority of the population is now too young to remember the days of county and city hospitals which didn't place profits above patient care.

If you're OK with those decisions being made by some anonymous corporate bean counter whose bottom line trumps what your doctor says you need, then you can keep your current coverage. Nobody's going to be forced on to a public plan. I'd rather have a gov't panel deciding what my doctor can do than not have a doctor at all.

Yes, I am old enough to remember having one doctor for the whole community - and the nearby mill village and the prison. His waiting room was a porch swing on the front porch. This is not just about health care - it is about socialisic takeover of all areas of our lives - we are supposed to be a government of the people not a people of the government - no one is opposed to health care for everyone - even those who are too lazy to work and sacrifice to make the payments-it is about the government running our lives - what next will they take of our freedoms? Our country is in serious shape and has been for a long time - this has just brought it out in the open. Stay tuned for my next article, it will be eye opening. Do they serve diabetic meals in jail?

More than 200,000 people a year die from hosp mistakes - greed has been the oil running the engine of health care since the doc's chunked their horse and buggy. I once had a doctor tell me, "Mam, this is a business."But that is not the issue here. The issue is taking away free enterprise and freedom of choice and making our country a socialist country. The community action group where President Obama said he learned more than in college is a movement-not an administration. Look at the comment below and follow the link that Bob Ventura list. This is not about health care-it is only a tool being used to divide America and to implement Socialism. This is not mongering but real fear.

Dr. Stephen Fraser gets a 3.5 out of 10 rating on drscore.com. And that a higher score than I would give him on his analysis of the healthcare bill. My husband and I have worked and paid taxes for years. We are in our 50's now and he has been laid off for months now. We have had to pay for COBRA coverage through Aetna which is about 1000.00 dollars a month. Any medical bills are paid at 80% and we pay 20% That adds up quickly. We can't afford this much longer. WHat do you suggest we do? I haven't heard any alternative plans, just attackson Obama's plan.

I understand.I live on SS and live frugally as well.I pay both Medicare and private.Everyone is hurting. How can you pay $1,000 a month with no job?Can you apply for aid or unemployment? I spoke with Dr. Fraser-we live a nation apart but he was genuine and cares about his patients.Perhaps the doc site has been tampered with-maybe like Joe the plumber? We shouldn't kill the messenger.Folks may have to drop the internet, cable, videos, dinner out, or even eat onion sandwiches that is better than having our freedom taken away. Patrick Henry said Give me liberty or give me death. It was that important-it is still important. We will be paying insurance right along with no choice to change with no competition they can charge or do anything. This is not about health care but socialism.I have studied this and I know what I am saying.I have friends in other countries with socialized med and it is awful. The govt takes your money, and still go up on your taxes. There are no free rides, God bless you

OOps!the comment below is from Pat to Karen-too tired today I guess.Karen please go to the article I wrote last night and read about the lady in Arizona who is fed up with all in Washington-me too. This health care thing is much deeper than helping those with no insurance-why not just help them and leave the rest of the people alone? Those who can pay insurance let them - those who can't let the govt figure out something for them rather than split the nation into. Medicare rations medicine much more than Pvt ins.I know I have both. So much fraud in Medicate that would more than cover those who have no insurance - what about $6.000 scooter chairs when others don't have heart medications? What about the awful shape our Vet and wounded soldiers hospitals? They are awful. Here in GA Grady Hospital govt run is about to fold up. No more dialysis now.Man knew he had blood clot leg and asked for X-ray was told Medicare would not pay for it. He could have died. So many stories. God bless you.

Marie-It is not the intention to scare anyone - we are the watchmen in the tower all we can do is sound the alarm. People can heed or not.It is not us who love the freedom of this nation you should be afraid to make you shake in your boots-but boots marching in the streets like Russia, China, Korea, Cuba. People die in the streets in Korea and people just walk around their dead bodies.Truth.Stop and think? Who would want anyone else to not have heath care? This is not an administration but a movement-a movement toward socialism-it has been coming for a long time and it is here-if we don't stop it-we will all be slaves to the state. Ins co's have to compete-the govt don't. Why do they lie and say they want single pay-option-no ins co's in one interview and then deny it in another? Same people? Look for my upcoming article about a British politician who is warnng America about socialism like in England. He reminds us of our heritage and we seem to forget. Freedom isn't free. God bless

Note from Pat: Make sure you read Part one and two and three and look for part four coming up. We are all in this together - we are not enemies. We need to change health care and save our nation - we must do both. CNN is backtracking all over the place this morning about this-saying-this is not a bill-but like a blueprint-we had officials ready to sign who had not read it - we have them saying one thing and then changing it-it is the lies we are all tired of. I have family members who do not have any health ins and no money to buy it. You think that don't bother me terribly? They can't buy food and health care-but would this really help them? Google and find out what Tom Daschle who was going to lead this fight until he got caught up with and resigned-see what he said about health care for the elders. Why even have mention in this bill about end of life counseling for elders? Suicide among elders is increasing because of illness and poor quality of life. So Sad. God forgive us.

We should let Congress know that when we,the people, are offered a health care plan that ALL of Congress will accept as their health care plan, then we'll consider the plan for ourselves. We are all tired of their condescending and elitist attitudes and actions. If they continue with their determination to ram this program through, regardless of whether the people want it or not I think they will have proven, without a doubt, that it's no longer a "GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE".

I work in a Government Hospital. We work very hard trying to provide all we can for our Veterans. We don't have an endless budget, all we have to work with is what our current President determines we need. We have tried to do more with less but always come up short. If this health care plan passes I pray to God that our Veterans needs will be provided for, they deserve to be covered for the freedoms they provides for us.
People who have no intention on ever working and keeping knocking out babies should be taken off welfare then maybe they could find a job with insurance instead of just being given everything they need.
I am sorry but I don't feel bad for you when you have no desire to work and I have no desire to pay with my sweat and hard earned money to make sure you're lazy bum is covered.

I'm not for the healthcare bill, but this email has so much mis-information in it, that I have taken it upon myself to set the records straight. Go to www.FaithfulinPrayer.wordpress.com to see the true information along side by side with his email.

I'm also reading the healthcare bill (h.r.3200) and detailing what it actually says at that same web-site. Come join me on my journey through the bill

Jackie: I don’t usually allow folks to use my web site to hook to theirs kinda like hijacking, huh? But I wanted to respond to your site, checked it found very little about prayer except a puzzling headline – Clear up the insanity so people can pray? Maybe you should read my other articles about faith, family, and prayer. Especially the one I posted yesterday about the Presidential Prayer Team. I am a member. I pray for our President and our nation every day. Your site seems very politically based. It wasn’t much about prayer. We should pray without ceasing and give praise and thanksgivings regardless of the times and situations - times of insanity is when we should pray most. Let’s see - we have already lost religious freedoms in many areas – anti-God – anti-Americans will not be satisfied until they close down all the churches, huh? Now that is something to pray about, huh? Why should we take your word – and all this governmentese over a man who actually practices medicine?

Amira: Oh, my. May God richly bless you over and above. It is people like you who have made America a great nation. I appreciate so much your comment-pray for you personally. Nursing is not an easy job no matter what. You work hours too long, have to make do, read the doctor’s mind and get little respect over all. I know what nurses have to do and how hard they work, physically and emotionally. I’m sure few of them have to go to the gym. Tying more government control is not the answer for health care or our freedoms. Free enterprise has worked for centuries and we are the envy of the world – why go backward let’s all work hard to go forward. Instead of all the agencies with alphabet names like ACORN who gets amazing grants and others appointed – why not give some real work to those who are appointed in health care fields to do their jobs and help improve health care. I support Vets – I crocheted three afghans last Christmas for those in wheelchairs. You make a difference.

Linda: You are so on target. You have got my vote because you understand what is at stake here - our freedom - we need to make health care better; but giving it to the government who will give it to contractors at huge profits is not the answer. Who would administer this massive bill for 300,000,000 people? Those worse than insurance companies. Talk about fraud.

This health care bill is an Eugenics agenda meant to ration care, deny older people the care they have now and ruin what is left of the art of medicine.

Sites like 911essentials.com explains this and much more that the New World Order is up to .. whether you want to believe it all exists or not.

How can any of you claim to of TRUE AMERICAN heritage when you scare so easily. I am from pioneer stock (1690). You have all fallen in step like Lemings. Stop watching Fox News and start READING.....FACTS. Follow the money folks. Stop living like you have just enough religion to hate. Start acting like a Christian. Words are cheap...so is fear. You're all acting like a bunch of ditto-heads. Get rid of the fear as you become educated by finding out for yourself......not what you are told.

Mr. Idiot America: First of all let me ask why it is that when Progressives disagree with Conservatives or anyone else, they first and foremost resort to name calling and insults. Second of all I presented the facts and let people decide for themselves. Third of all I don't know what is on this "truth will out" site which is probably like the truth squad during the elections - but I believe from another source where the Bible says, "the truth will set you free." The lies we are living in this administration are not setting us free but putting us in bondage. Perhaps Mr. Idiot America you should research the facts like I did and see that this is not about the health of America -which we have the greatest system in the world already-but about campaign promises and socialism.Check out Saul Alinsky and his desire for communism in this country and see how Mr. Ayers and Mr. Obama were students of his. I am for freedom above all else and the gov't to stop spending my grandchildren's money.
