“Are doctors waving red flag for Gardasil Cancer Vaccine for young women?”
First read the original article and then you will understand the comments. Site given below. This is such a very scary situation for all concerned, I felt obligated to share them with all the readers. This article written on August 19, 2009, received so many strong comments - and this issue is so serious - I have listed them below just as the readers published them. For continuity, I reversed the order (dates) in which they were received so you could better connect them. It seems that Ms. Flowers is very passionate about this subject as she wrote a series.Be sure and read the last entry from Rosemary Mathis from NC and the heart wrenching story she tells of the aftermath of her young daughter taking this vaccine. No matter what happens to our children even with the best of intentions – we feel so responsible when they get sick and most of the time so helpless. Ashley writes of her concern from having taken only one of the shots and the fact that she has not been feeling well. In the article, you can read what Dr. Timothy Johnson said regarding this drug he once highly recommended.
There is a lot more to good health care than just what insurance company you use – there needs to be more accountability for the drugs put on the market and more confidence that they will “First do no harm.” Serious side effects have become so acceptable – who cares except the family – if a few die and the meds help a few others?
While competition is a good thing in our system of free enterprise – caution should be taken by pharmaceutical companies in trying to rush new drugs to the market – as the public is the biggest guinea pigs of all – how many people have to become very ill or die before these drugs are recalled once they are on the market?
It is also interesting that these companies have taken many older, tried, and true medications off the market to introduce the new ones – new is not always better – and change is only welcomed - if it is good. There was time when the doctor weighed the consequences before prescribing drugs and now patients see the “wonderful” ads on TV and order up their drugs like ordering a sandwich.
There has also got to be legislation that prohibits physicians from any kind of kick backs, trips, or rewards for “peddling” the new drugs. Beware when your doctor is out of town “on a conference,” when he gets back he will be loaded down with samples and hand them out like candy.
Another dangerous thing is physicians prescribing medications for a different illness other than what they were manufactured for. There may be some benefits; but this was not tested in a lab; but on individuals in the public. Example: My husband was given a drug called Neurotin for pains in his legs which was originally made for neurological problems including seizures – this medication has received some unfavorable attention in Europe because of the suicidal ideation which it causes in some people. Check out your newly prescribed medications BEFORE you pay for them and have to throw them out. Millions of dollars are wasted each year from disposed medicines. I am much more in favor of controlling the methods of health care between doctors, hospitals, and drug companies than I am who writes the insurance policies. Insurance companies might be money hungry; but bad medical care can kill you.
Take the time to look up all new drugs you are not familiar with on the Internet – compare it against the drug you are presently taking – check out drug interactions with food or other drugs – note symptoms of reactions – if you are concerned stop taking the medicine and contact your physician or pharmacist. Many medications are contradicted for various chronic illness and may worsen or even kill. Be especially careful taking any drug when you have heart problems or diabetes for example. Even check out your old medications from time to time to see if there are any recalls you might not have heard of or any additional side effects. Be a hero to yourself. The life you save may be your own.

Penny - Sadly, the HPV epidemic is a long term consequence of having virtually all boys circumcised at birth from 1950 on. Several generations of men have grown up without the protective foreskin. We have epidemics of HPV and HIV in countries where circumcision is routine. Now the tragedy is compounded by this vaccine. If parents/doctors would STOP circumcising babies, the next generation would be protected from HPV - no vaccine needed.

Marie Flowers - Almost 25 percent of the complications were serious. Several cases of sudden death occurring within eight hours of taking the vaccine were reported. Death was secondary to coronary artery thrombosis (heart attack), pulmonary embolism (clots in the lung vessels) and enlargement of the heart. Two of the deaths occurred in girls aged 12 and 19. In an attempt to downplay the complications, the FDA listed instances of children being found unresponsive after the vaccine as “minor complications.” In a previous issue of the newsletter, I warned pregnant women about the dangers of being vaccinated during pregnancy. Incredibly, 42 pregnant women were vaccinated with this vaccine and 18 experienced side effects, which included spontaneous abortions and malformed babies. Seizures, Bell’s palsy and Guillain-Barre syndrome (paralysis) were also reported. If states had passed mandatory vaccination with Gardasil the number of dead, paralyzed, and seriously impaired young girls would have occurred with this vaccine with only a limited use of the vaccine nationwide. If states had passed mandatory vaccination with Gardasil the number of dead, paralyzed, and seriously impaired young girls would have been astronomical. I shudder to think of the number of pregnant women who would have lost their babies or had malformed babies. What makes all this so shocking is that Gardasil has not been shown to actually prevent cervical cancer, and it has been shown to become ineffective after three-and-a-half years. Most HPV-related cervical cancer occurs after age 30. It might surprise you to know that there are 20 million people infected with HPV, yet there are only 10,000 cases of cervical cancer in the United States and 3,000 deaths per year.

Marie Flowers - Part 4 of Dr. Blaylock's article: That would be an incidence of HPV related cancer of 0.001 percent, if we assume half of all cases were females. (Cancers caused by the HPV virus can also occur in men. HPV cancers can develop in several places including the penis, anus, mouth, and throat.) Likewise, studies have shown that most cervical cancer occurs in women who do not get regular Pap smears, with the highest incidence in those who have multiple sexual partners, poor personal hygiene, and poor nutrition. Not only should those responsible for these tragedies be sued, THEY SHOULD BE SERVING PRISON SENTENCES.

Find a nutritional Integrative doctor. (acam.org). Regular doctors know very little about supplementation and tell you to buy junk vitamins at Wall Mart. Go to a doctor who knows something and can get you on some good pharmaceutical quality brands. Buy you some vitamin C powder and start taking it daily. Bronson is a good brand. I have been reading the treatments these gardsil damaged kids have and they are dying on the steroids. There are other ways to cut down on inflammation with holistic doctors, through IV's of vitamin C and IV's of glutathione. The links I gave for doctors above are holistic doctors who major in environmental medicine. Gardasil vaccines have twice the amount of aluminum as other vaccines. Stop taking them! Aluminum is a neurotoxin!!! Do pap smears. Have sex with one man, only. Stay clean, eat right, take supplements to build your immune system and you won't have cancer. Marie Flowers - Why should we believe the most wonderful Dr. Timothy Johnson from ABC news when several months ago he was singing the praises of the Gardasil vaccine. Anyone on mainstream media is our to sell you something---drugs, vaccines and the other toxins from hell to put in your body. Pat - Ashley, it seems you have gotten some good advice here. Follow you doctor's advice as well; but always follow your own heart. Penny: Never thought of that - perhaps you are right - but many men have complications as well if they don't have the surgery. It is a matter of choice - at least we still have some choices left. Jennifer: Thank you for sharing your input - we all need each other and we will soon realize that and be there for each other - the government is not going to take care of us and it was never designed to in the first place.

Rosemary Mathis, NC - My 13 year old daughter was injured by Gardasil and completely disabled for the past year. Merck got it right when they used the slogan "One Less" for Gardasil. Because of Gardasil, my daughter was "One Less". She was "One Less Student", "One Less Active Child", "One Less in every aspect of her life". Take it from a mother who has spent the past year sitting by my child's beside wondering if she would die in her sleep. INVESTIGATE BEFORE YOU VACCINATE. DO NOT trust your doctor to make this decision. If you want to understand Merck's role in the medical community, investigate some of their former wonderdrugs such as VIOXX and then marvel at how many people died from it before it was pulled off the market. The CDC AND FDA need to do their job and get this off the market before more children are harmed. The public is not aware of VAERS and the #'s are grossly understated. Pat - Rosemary thank you for sharing your story - it is our prayer that your 13 year old daughter is fully recovered. We elected not go get our 13 year old the shot and now we are glad we didn't. But some 25 million young women did receive this and only time will tell of long term problems. But now they know already that some young women have died and others have suffered severe side effects. VAERS that you mention is a site for reporting Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System. However, I agree with you that we can't always rely on full or accurate reporting from our government. But there is hope while citizens can become involved - with socialized medicine we will be cut off from any resource of holding the medical community accountable. Give my love to your daughter. I just said a prayer for her complete recovery and that she will be restored to being a happy 13 year old. Thank you for sharing this with others. After having a heart attack while on Vioxx and following the news for years after that, I came to understand the enormous power a large company like Merck can have. The fact that Gardisil was being so heavily promoted while Merck was dealing with nearly 50,000 Vioxx lawsuits made it seem pretty obvious that they were looking for some way to pay for the mess that was made with Vioxx. Remember the effort being made to MANDATE the use of Gardisil? That would have been a nice chunk of change for Merck. No doubt their political connections helped to push that idea along, until people started to push back. It's baffling how a company can do so much good with one hand, and then so much damage with the other. And, just for the record, the theory that circumcision is somehow to blame for the spread of HPV makes no sense at all. A foreskin has no special protective properties that would make such a thing possible. That's like saying a circumcised man is incapable of spreading HIV. Nonsense.
Sorry for coming back to the circumcision issue, but I felt it was important to say something more. The theory about circumcision having any substantial role in the spread of HPV is not merely nonsensical, it's dangerous misinformation. Being uncircumcised does not protect anyone... man or woman... from getting a sexually transmitted disease. The theory is not even worthy of debate because it's simply not true, and to say otherwise is irresponsible.
Wary:Thank you so much for the two comments you posted and for the additional information you gave us regarding how HPV could not be prevented by males being uncircumcised that is an interesting theory-but I have no idea about who is right or wrong-need to jot that one down for research.I could tell stories that are almost like science fiction to people who have never been there regarding the experiences that both myself and husband have had with mistakes, errors, and malpractice. My 16 year old daughter was also injured by the Gardasil vaccine. She had her first jab on January 9th, 2009 and her second on March 9th, 2009 (the day after her 16th birthday). Since her first shot, she has suffered dizziness, overall weakness, pains in both legs and left arm, numbness and tingling in both legs and left arm, back pains, neck pains, pressure headaches, vision disturbances, racing heartbeat, chest pains, nausea, diarhea, weight loss, hair loss, just to name a few. She has been rushed to the ER three times with breathing problems. She stopped breathing 3 times. She threw her birth control away because she was so sick and didnt want to take anything else. We literally thought she was going to die. Just 2 weeks after throwing her birth control out, and being comforted by her best friend, she got pregnant. She failed her 10th grade year from missing so much school and having brain fog. Now she is carrying a baby that could have birth defects. How many more girls????
Thank you Pat for this article and for your prayers for my daughter. My hope is that all parents research Gardasil before allowing their child to be vaccinated. You should NEVER have faith in your doctor to research up front. My doctor did not and didn't even recognize the symptoms of side effects when they occurred. We put way too much trust in our doctors. They are only human and make mistakes also. My daughter is being treated by 2 major university hospitals, Duke University Children’s Hospital and Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital and they have both been wonderful, but it has been at a cost of tens of thousands of dollars which is least important to my child’s health.

A study published in December, 2005 discovered that Tween 80 can cause anaphylaxis, a sometimes fatal reaction characterized by a sharp drop in blood pressure, hives, and breathing difficulties. Researchers concluded that the severe reaction was not a typical allergic response characterized by the combination of IgE antibodies and the release of histamines; it was caused by a serious disruption that had occurred within the immune system.
“ONE LESS” has been mentioned by one of the writers. Our family is also “ONE LESS”. Jessie had all three shots of Gardasil. After the second shot she and her mother notices the headaches, Muscle aches, and fatigue. Jessie was taken to the doctor that gave her the Gardasil. The doctor said it was just stress. Jessie was a cheerleader; a member of the National Honor Society, Played many sports and was practicing for softball, which was about to start.
Jessie went with her mother on February 20, 2008 for the third shot of Gardasil. The next night she told her mother that the headache was back and went to bed. Her mother went to work early the next day and upon returning home from work found Jessie dead. She had been dead for several hours. The medical examiner said, “She was dead before she hit the floor”. Still he could find no cause for her death.

If we had only known that there were other side effects other than the few that were listed by Merck. Jessie would NEVER have received this wonder vaccine that is killing and maiming our girls.
Since Jessie’s death we have been researching and cannot believe that the FDA and the CDC have not pulled this product off the market. There are so many unanswered questions. The GRAY ZONES of risk were mentioned. They are calling all of the deaths 40 plus just in the U.S. that we know of, sheer coincidences. There have been 15,000 adverse reactions also reported just in the U.S. Statistics show that only 1%-10% is ever reported to VAERS, which is a very small percentage. Many families do not know to report the reactions or how to report them. It is not mandatory for doctors to report the adverse reactions so many doctors do not report them.

Gardasil trials by Merck brought many new medical conditions to many of the girls and women that were being used for the studies. This information is found on the FDA web site dated September 11, 2008. If you would like to look at it the information is on page 132 table 73 titled “New Medical Conditions.
HPV is a virus that the body can fight off over a period of time. The virus COULD cause cervical cancer, NOT WOULD cause cancer. In the U.S. cervical cancer is on the decline with the Pap test and other forms of detection. We do not have an epidemic of cervical cancer so why is Merck pushing to have every girl vaccinated. YOU GUESSED IT!!!! The answer is MONEY. Merck lost a lot of money with the drug VIOX. This drug was also killing people and had to be removed from the market.

My heart is so wrenched for these young girls who have been so adversely affected by this drug. I am working on a follow up to this story and I will include your comments. I am concerned about the mass injections of the H1N1 swine flu shot in that they are speeding up production by one month and they have not finished the testing trials yet. What a choice - take a chance on the vaccine - not get it and take a chance on a serious deadly flu. This flu has been in the headlines for more than a year - why the delay in this process? Why weren't trials began earlier? Will there be enough vaccine for those who wish to take it or will it be ratoned?
My daughter has some kind of neuroligcal problems. I have taken her to every

Thank you for sharing your story and I am praying for your daughter to have a full and complete recovery with no long term affects. "God cover her with Your love, and healing and restore her completely." When we speak of what has happened to us, we can hopefully help others to be informed and not travel the same road. We have got to get doctors and those in the medical community to listen to us - that is more important than who carries our insurance. With government health care this can only worsen. Socialized medicine will make it even harder for communications between doctor and patient - it will take away the personal relationship between them and make it a cold, impersonal one. The most important part of health care is not mentioned in the bill; but only the logistics of who will be in control - where does the patient fit into this? What is happening to our government? Where has common sense gone? Stay on mission until action is taken and resolved.
About the comment on circumcision - it is actually shown to reduce the risks of HIV and other STDs. The foreskin actually holds bacteria and other viruses longer to be able to penetrate the the underlying skin.
So please don't blame this on the "advent" of circumcision. Most people aren't circumcised these days anyways due to it being a religious tradition.
It is actually a staged government conspiracy. Anyone going to jump in line to get the H1N1 vaccination?
My daughter had her shots when she was 15 and 16, she is now 19. she has had siezures, ovarian cysts removed, and recurring cysts monthly, dizzy spells, fainting, numbness in limbs, always cold, nausea, pain in back and belly, painful periods, migranes, constantly tired, always in pain 24/7. What can be done and will she be able to have children and if she does will they be healthy?
