Islander is a game in early beta testing that gives players the ability to create and live on their own virtual island. It uses a very cute and simple art style and is spreading quickly because of easy to understand gameplay. Islander is quickly becoming a favorite among island game fanatics. While not as realistic as Island Life, or as well known as Island Paradise, Islander is still a decent amount of fun for a simple game.
Islander are currently doing a Women's Day event, where players can send female-themed gifts such as scented candles, pink tents, flower stalls, hat stands, and other items for "the fairer sex". There are also some new items available in the Island Market that can be purchased, such as mirrors and many of the available gifts.
This is the first we have heard of a Facebook game celebrating Women's Day. Have you received any of these gifts in Islander yet? If so, what do you think?
