One of the more frustrating elements of Zynga's popular game FishVille, is that if players don't come back often enough to tend their fish - they will die. There is nothing more depressing than coming back to a fish tank with your precious fishies floating upside down at the top of your tank.
In a bold move, FishVille has announced that fish will no longer die right away. Instead, they will get sick and stay that way for three days. In that time, friends will be able to visit the fish tank and medicate fish to heal them back up. This is a mostly welcome change.
This does mean that fish that used to be able to go without food for several days will now need to be fed daily. Players can purchase a pack of medicine for 1 Sand Dollar, can get them as gifts from their friends, or can be won in the daily giveaway. This will encourage people to visit their neighbors' fish tanks more, and heal the fish for their friends.
We think this is a good change! What do you think?

My daughter likes all that stuff.. she said Fishville was sort of hard to understand though... I don't mess with the applications much at all.
