Zynga have been very creative with Farmville, with everything from exotic animals to beautiful decor. One thing that players have been asking for for a long time is dogs. Dogs are a popular pet, of course, which is why people are interested in having one for their farm.
Zynga have been hinting over time about dogs, leading many players to believe that they may release dogs in the future. Yesterday, they released a brand new loading screen in Farmville that cleared it up for everyone. Dogs really will be coming soon, per this teaser image:

It could be possible that Zynga will release a Petville tie-in with Farmville, similar to how players can send Farmville-themed gifts available in Petville currently.
