It's a funny day all across the internet today, and Facebook games are no exception.  Many games have taken the opportunity to either play a silly prank on their players, or have released humorous and out-of-character items for their games.

These jokes have ranged from wall post messages to in-world item releases.  Not all games have decided to participate in this year's April Fools Day, but the ones who have were able to put smiles on their player's faces on this hilarious day.

Let's take a look at some of the more interesting April Fool's Day pranks and jokes that were released today in our favorite Facebook games.

Everyone's favorite farming game, FarmVille, released several things for April Fool's Day, including three new animals.  The animals that were released are the Jackalope, Groovy Goat, and Pseudocorn.  There is also a mini villa that is a super tiny house, and a Lake Nessy decoration.  The animals are all available for Farm Cash only and all of these items are only available for the next 5 days.  In addition, FarmVille have given players the ability to decorate their neighbor's barns with toilet paper!  Everyone will find their barns covered in TP in no time with this hilarious prank.

 Mafia Wars // Tami B.

Mafia Wars has released a funny addition.  All players who visit their Chop Shop will discover that it has turned into a  Unicorn Castle.  It has the ability to produce potions that will let players create unicorns.  It's unclear how long this will last, but you should hurry up and log in to Mafia Wars to check out this unicorn prank!

Tiki Resort // Tami B.

Playdom's hit Tiki Resort is doing something exciting as well.  For 2 Facebook Credits, players can purchase "The Best Charm Ever".  This charm goes into the volcano, makes it explode, says APRIL FOOLS and then spreads your entire island with trash.  This upset some players, but once they realized they get XP and coins for each piece of trash, they were happy.  There is also a Happiness Charm that when inserted into the volcano will make all the people on the island happy.

Pet Society 3D // Tami B.

Pet Society have a new button on the bottom of their screen for April Fools that tells players they can convert their game into 3D mode.  When clicked, the game goes through a progress bar talking about it converting images to 3D and various other processes.  At the end of the progress bar, a pop-up alerts Pet Society players "April Fools!" and nothing actually happens.

The Facebook game: Wild Ones (a game where you not only make a pet, but go into battle with different weapons, attacks, and special moves) has created a new battleground that says "Page cannot be displayed". It is unsure how long this arena will last, so i suggest you log in and start creating havoc!
