Umm. Isn't that what 99.9% of the main stream media does and has done for hundreds of years? At least this is just *raw* documentary video of something served up by mother nature, and captures how it was dealt with by human nature. Most media agencies (especially CNN, NBC, TMZ) write biased, sensationalized self-serving stories around their raw video and pry into people's intimate personal business.

"a jerk who makes money from other peoples misery."

Actually that sounds like the definition of EMPLOYER.

Nicole, I really wonder how well thought out your statement was? Journalist such as Doug provide footage to media agencies that show what happens when people are not prepared for bad weather. Thus, other people learn from such video and in action, they learn and prepare for other possible situations. So when you think about it, if it weren't for people like Doug (that constantly remind people that these things can and will happen), a lot more people would die from these acts of nature. Now, if you really want to complain about jerks that make money from other people's misery, target the insurance industry. And please, before you just shoot your mouth off in total stupidity, apply some thought to what you are about to say. Doing so would make the planet a better place to live.

  • eh, sounds like some pissed off people that voted for Hope & Change and are now on the street corner asking people for spare change.
