Steroid.com - being run through SONY?

Carlos Edwards, SONY/Steroid.com Employee

Regardless of your opinion on anabolic steroids, you have an expectation that when you visit seemingly authoritative sites like Steroid.com, you are getting expert opinions from the administrative staff. But a recent inquiry into exactly who is running the site revealed something shocking.

It is being run, in part, by a SONY engineer, from his office in the New York City branch of that company. The employee in question is Carlos Edwards, a moderator and administrator for Steroid.com, and an employee of SONY. He mentions on the Steroid.com that he is an engineer for SONY who does Information Technology planning and project management work. What qualifies an IT engineer to run a steroid site? And why is he running it from his office at SONY?

As if it weren't bad enough to  mention that he works for SONY, Mr. Edwards even goes so far as to reveal that his supervisor has purchased him a refrigerator for his office, so he can keep his growth hormone at work. Additionally, he tells us that he has "gear" (slang for anabolic steroids) shipped to him at work.

Why is an engineer running a steroid site from within SONY? Why is he telling us he receives and stores illegal drugs at SONY? For a corporation whose profile includes numerous sponsorships in the sporting world, I think they can do better than having one of their employees brazenly telling the world that he has steroids delivered to him at SONY, while he runs steroid.com from their offices. Can't they?

Once again, I can't answer these questions, and neither can SONY. Numerous calls to their human resources office were not returned.
