Hattiesburg Forerunners is a local sports organization for homeschool boys and girls between the ages of 13 and 18. They have basketball programs for boys and for girls and a boys' baseball team.
The Forerunners teams have competed, and won, at the regional and state levels. The boys' basketball team won the Mississippi State Homeschool Tournament in 2008. The teams compete against other homeschool teams as well as against public and private schools.
The Hattiesburg Forerunners are holding registration for basketball on August 6 at 3:00 PM at Community Bible Church in Hattiesburg. Physicals will also take place at that time.

Great way for homeschool students to get involved in sports !
This a great program. I've often wondered if home school children lose out by not having these types of opportunities for social interaction. Thanks for sharing.
