More people are looking for ways to save money, but as the previous articlementions, this does not have to take a toll on one's love life.  In Kansas City, there are countless opportunities to bond with your significant other without spending a lot of cash--if any.  Kansas City resident and visitor alike must visit the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, located in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is one of the premier art museums in the area, and best of all, it has free admission.  What better way to enjoy the day with someone than to look at classic pieces of art?

For the more in-depth art connesieur, the museum does offer classes for children and adults alike, including lectures, classes, and programs for parents to take with their children; even better, many of these classes are either free or relatively inexpensive to take, all while enhancing one's appreciation of art...without breaking the bank.

I loved the Nelson-Atkins...just not the person who took me there last! Haha...but yes, a great date idea! And free!

I personally am not a big fan of museums but my husband is. We went to the Nelson Atkins museum years ago (it had an admission cost) and we spent hours there. However, I did enjoy the impressive collection of Monets. The fact that it is now free admission is a huge bonus! And the cafe there was quite enjoyable....food is always a plus!! I just may go again :-)
