Fun With Your Best Friend in Lakewood Dog Park
Daniel & I decided to take Titus and Lua to the City of Lakewood Dog Park next to the Rocky River Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks. The dogs had a wonderful time, and and I got some great footage!
Park Rules
Dogs must be properly licensed, vaccinated and wear a collar/ID tags.
Dogs must be leashed when not inside the fenced-in area.
Owners must have a leash visible at all times.
Dogs must be at least 4 months old.
Dogs in heat are not allowed at the park.
No aggressive dogs allowed.
Pit bulls must be leashed and muzzled at all times, per Lakewood City ordinance.
Owners must pick up after their dogs.
Small Dogs
A fenced, small dog play area for dogs 20 pounds and under, separate from the rest of the dog park is available, although your small dog is welcome to roam the entire park. The small dog area has its own water bowl, toy basket, benches and shade tree.
Hours & Location
Daily from dawn until dusk. 1299 Valley Parkway in Lakewood; next to the water treatment plant near the far north end of the Rocky River Metropark valley.
