Jaime Pajak, D.V.M., is an alumni of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and a freelance writer who has worked with several non-profit animal rescue, shelter, sanctuary and rehabilitation organizations. She became a veterinarian not only to provide medical services to exotic pets and wildlife, but also to help spread awareness about the needs of non-traditional pets.
