Michael Jackson's casket: his last vehicle (dressed in in eternal celebrity fashion)
The Michael Jackson funeral news continues to be released and updated. Here, see the photos of the funeral procession, including all the gorgeous cars were used to provide transportation for the MJ family, closest celebrity friends, and the dead pop music star. Father of the deceased, Joe Jackson, was in the first car of the processional, which according to US Magazine included six new Bentleys and Rolls Royces, eight Land Rovers, two limo buses and 19 California Highway Police motorcycle cops. Watching the skies littered with helicopters and the streets lines with mourning fans eager to pay their last respects, the special event washed a cloud of depression for fans over the whole of Los Angeles while the world watched the live, televised feature.

Rolls Royce and Land Rover car dealer – Land Rover Encino – reportedly did a target loan placement of their finest vehicles and supplied a couple of gorgeous Black Rolls Royce Phantom cars and an entire fleet of ten Black Range Rover luxury SUV trucks for the use of the Jackson family and entourage – free of charge – for the Jackson Funeral. The rumor has been confirmed, as the company used the opportunity to promote brand recognition of their automobiles with fans around the world and the name of their company with the celebrity and high influence California locals. No two passenger exotic cars were used for the procession; only high line luxury automobiles (with the Rolls Royce being limited production European imports and falling into the exotic not supercar range [exotic car client favor private ownership of both multi-passenger models for travel, and insiders in the industry know the Rolls and Range Rovers are often traded by exotics dealers for their customers on the down low].
The debate about how much the funeral and related traffic congestions (including the use of police cars) has cost the city of Los Angeles itself. Questions are arising about how much money in tax payer dollars has been used to fund security and escorts of the celebrities attending and involved in the funeral. The debate over municipal funds use has beginning to kick into full swing through grass roots debates right now.
Who should pay for road barricades, staffing of corners, and transport escorts when mourners from around the world are involved in such a function? Should the Jackson Estate contribute to pay for the cost the city was forced to incur or should the expense be written off like an unavoidable natural disaster? Is the death of Michael Jackson and the related media and tourist surge the equivalent of a storm?

Michael's death was a shock to my heart! I never knew him personaly, but like many of his fans I felt him through his music. I could not even begin to think of what my childhood would of been like had it not been for his music. He gave up his childhood so many who grew up in hard times like myself could have some outlet to enjoy ours. I LOVE him, more than words can say and my heart is in shambles!! I feel like I have lost a family member, like a peice of my childhood has died! I feel like we all should respect his family and just give them some private time to deal with their loss. I have no idea how it feels to lose a brother, dad, cousin, or uncle, But I can only think that it would need to be delt with in private. And to the media, think before you start to print these wild stories, because one day his 3 children will have to look back on all the ugly things you are saying about their dad. We Love You Michael Joe Jackson the Great and Always will!!
I feel the same way as all of Michaels fans. We have lost not only a star, but a wonderful human being. And to all the people that are trying to rip him apart, let him rest in piece because you never let him rest while he was alive.

The whole thing is such a shame, but I truely feel Michael played a hand in it. He had 50 concerts coming up and no money to pay it back when he couldnt make them, already deeply in debt this looks less like an accident and more like the only way out for Michael. I think he was a great talent and I will miss his music and dance .

Elephants? Circus? How much did Joe get from the media for the "official pictures". The "business opportunities" never stop, they borrowed cars so THEY could ride in style, Jackson stuck in a retrofitted Lincoln Town Car. Where was HIS Rolls Royce? Whose show was this?
It's way dark by the time they got started, plenty of notice to the media to get their helicopters in the air, started late so there would be more 'live coverage'. Which they now complain of, Joe didn't get a cent from the 'live coverage.'
The brothers have to wear super-dark shades 'cause they're terrified they'll be recognized? And they couldn't remember which hands the white gloves went on?
