On December 15, during the United Nations Climate Summit, Irish Company Steorn announced a six week demonstration of its over-unity device – Orbo technology. I remember a free energy system that was promoted about ten years back that sounded good involving a freon-like gas and hydraulics. All excited I told my business associate about it who happens to be a hydraulics expert and original inventor of the trash compactor. We went out to New Jersey for a demonstration of this technology and he afterward said he had tried that very thing years ago and it didn't work. It was a scam but the promoter had succeeded in conning a lot of unsophisticated people and made a lot of money doing so. I remember being sad and dissilusioned that it didn't work, that we weren't going to make a lot of money investing in this "new technology" on the ground floor level. You live and learn.
I'm not saying new and more efficient energy technologies and motors don't exist, and are not being suppressed by Big Energy interests, only that you have to be very circumspect and demand proof, full transparency and replicability. If you don't get this, the chances are its a scam.

Anyway, I think it is likely that we will be allowed to eventually have low level vacuum energy tapping technology soon. But don't be deceived, access to higher energy levels, i.e. useful technology for tapping ultra high levels of vacuum energy, is likely to stay hidden. Realize that tapping these higher levels of energy, the kind needed for anti-gravity propulsion or turning skyscrapers into dust in 10 seconds will be forbidden for humanity - except for a select group of control freak humans, that is. Remember, in the perpetua mobile business, not a working device is the most important thing, but the beliefs and hopes of millions of people on this planet. And investors like to spend money into this business - otherwise it were inexistent. Further, there is even a convincing scientific aspect: The 7th law of thermodynamics [Xenu, 2009] states clearly, the sum between the output energy of a cyclic energy conversion process and the human belief-energy is always smaller or equal to the input energy. Since the sign of the belief-energy can be considered as negative, a perpetuum mobile could work.

The Steorn device is battery powered - there is a battery connected to it but it is explained away as something other than being used to power the Orbo. Of course if it provided over-unity as claimed the output could be connected to the input (and the battery eliminated) but it is claimed the feedback is too unstable (now there is the ring of b%$s&$t). Tell people what they want to hear "it's free energy" and the gullible fools race in to put down their deposit.
