American League All Star starting pitchers

Roy Halladay is having the best season of his career - and that says a lot. He's 10-1 with a 2.53 ERA and leads the league in wins, winning percentage, walks/9, and K/BB ratio. He's an absolute manager's dream - a workhorse and a bulldog. He goes deep into games, and knows how to pitch. Halladay just plain puts on a clinic every time he takes the mound. Too bad he may miss the game because he's on the DL. (AP photo/Nathan Denette)
