Holly Madison, Tiger Woods, Sean Diddy Combs, Jimmy Buffet, George Clooney, World Record, and Helldorado
If you stayed home this past weekend you missed out. First there was the Guinness book of World Records win for Las Vegas Hosted by Holly Madison and his Honor Mayor Oscar Goodman. The Mayor then buzzed on down to the Helldorado Days 75th Anniversary Parade kicking off the weekend of PRCA Rodeo and carnival.
Tiger Woods had his Jam over at Mandalay bay with guests Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, and Paramore. Meanwhile Jimmy Buffet and his Coral reef band entertained parrot head followers, while Tom Jones swooned women once again both at the MGM.
George Clooney was in town to shoot some film and so was Sean Diddy Combs, that can guy can Twitter about Dances with Stars. The “Did” mister was also at the MGM pool doing some Jams.
The Las Vegas Wrangles ended their season with a loss in the playoffs, but called it a successful season while Dennis Miller killed again, both at the Orleans.
Helldorado days celebrated 75 years and kicked up some dust while the 51’s got dusted.
If there was anything else going on, no one noticed because Mayor Oscar Goodman made a proclamation at the beginning of the Bikini Parade, that summer started a month early in Las Vegas, and the city was ready for a blowout bash for the summer for 2009.
Holly Madison got a Peepshow at Planet Hollywood and hosted a World Record, a whole bunch of cowboys got bucked of their rides, the hockey ice melted for another season, and the boys of summer are back at Cashman Field.
Did anyone notice all the poker players back in town, the clock is now ticking for the start of the World Series of Poker and the Poker Classic.
If you thought this past week was huge, you haven’t seen anything yet. Las Vegas, brake out the Stars and Stripes, your BBQ, and some cool drinks, because it’s Memorial Weekend week!
