The television series Gossip Girl is about the fictional life of a bunch of New York City prep school teens. If you have ever wondered if it is true portrayal of prep school life in Manhattan, then NYC Prep is for you. NYC Prep is a docuseries that will premiere on Bravo, Tuesday night June 23rd at 9pm.

The teens in NYC Prep are very privileged, sophisticated and connected. They are living a life unlike other teenagers. The series follows the lives of six of these teens living on the Upper East Side on Manhattan.

NYC Prep is being produced by the same team that produces The Real Housewives of New York City. It will be interesting to see how viewers respond to watching a show about such wealthy teens during the recession that we are currently in. Is the timing for this series a bit off?
