Steve Mcnair's body was laid to rest today at Griffith Cemetery, near Prentiss, Mississippi. McNair's burial service was only for a few hundred family and close friends. Fans lined up around the cemetery to watch their fallen NFL hero get buried in the ground. After the burial service was over some fans walked inside the cemetery to say one final goodbye and take photographs.

Steve McNair's burial vault had a picture of McNair etched on top of it.

Griffith Cemetery is a very small cemetery that now has a gigantic legend, Steve McNair, that was laid to rest there on June 11th, 2009.

Steve McNair's funeral today in Hattiesburg, Miss. at the Reed Green Coliseum on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi, was attend by over 4,500 people. McNair's funeral service is the largest in Mississippi history.
