Billy Mays autopsy results have been announced by the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's office today. The shocking news is Billy Mays likely died from heart disease not a bump on the head. His autopsy showed no signs of head trauma. Although no offical cause of death has been given the coroner said all signs point to heart disease. Billy Mays had no known symptoms of heart disease before his death. Final autopsy results will not be in for 6 to 8 weeks.
Billy Mays died on Sunday, June 28th, 2009. Billy Mays was found unresponsive by his wife, Deborah Mays, inside his Tampa, Florida home.
Billy Mays was 50 years old when he died.
Billy Mays last public message
Billy Mays used Twitter to send a message after the plane's landing yesterday. The Tweet said "Just had a close call landing in Tampa. The tires blew out upon landing. Stuck in the plane on the runway. You can always count on US Air."
Billy May's son used Twitter to send a message about his dad's death this morning. The message said "My dad didn't wake up this morning.. I'm sure you'll all hear about it. It hasn't yet hit me but it's about to." He also Tweeted "On my way to the house. He's gone. I'm gonna be strong for him. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers everyone."
