This morning at approximately 7a.m. PDT, Michael Jackson's autopsy will begin. We could learn what killed Jackson only hours after the autopsy is over. It is believed that Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest. If he did die of cardiac arrest that means his heart simply stopped. Jackson was only 50 years old. He had the best medical care, so why would his heart suddenly stop?
Many believe that Michael Jackson's use of prescription drugs played a role in his death.In fact, Brian Oxman, the Jackson family spokesman and attorney said "This is a case of abuse of medications". Oxman said his family was enabling him. Oxman went on to say "If you think the case with Anna Nicole Smith was an abuse, it's nothing in comparison to what we have seen taking place in Michael Jackson's life."
If a prescription drug overdose did cause his death the toxicology results will take much longer to confirm this. The Jackson family has the legal right to try and block the ultimate cause of his death. It is possible that we may never know if Michael Jackson overdosed on drugs.
No matter what the cause of Michael Jackson's death, the world lost one of the most talented musicians and entertainers that ever walked the Earth.
