Disney talked about giving free tickets to the Disneyland and Disney World theme parks at the D23 Expo, the fan based conference in Anaheim three weeks ago. Basing the premise on the idea of the displays present at the expo, the cast members explained how very important it was to give back to our communities, our neighbors and our earth.
It became official today when word was given that the Disney Corporation announced the launch of the free theme park tickets that will be available for those wanting to attend Disneyland, and Disney World if they volunteer for a day.
GIVE A DAY, GET A DISNEY DAY PROMOTION
Here's how it works. Starting in 2010, if you want a free ticket to a Disney park, you go to the official website of the Disney Parks. Then you register for a day that you are willing to volunteer at a location and opportunity that best fits your skills. Once you put in the designated time of a days worth of work, you will receive the free day.
Sounds easy? It is and with the new website available for those interested in volunteering all an individual needs to to is surf, decide and show up for the volunteer work.
The Campaign for Give a Day, Get a Disney Day Promotion just opened today and is good for one million free tickets. So what are you waiting for? Get over and sign up for your day of fun (and then a day for Disney!) Then we can all go to Disneyland!
