What does he know about being happy that many
of us have forgotten?

There are so many reasons to feel down, but you need only one to feel good. And that's To Feel Good

Research has shown these methods to be great ways to build  confidence and your happiness too.

When I've done these things, I instantly boost my mood, making the unbearable torment that is my aimless slightly more tolerable for a few passing moments, before I am once again plunged back into the depths of my limitless misery. Enjoy!

1. Gratitude. Appreciate what you already have. No matter how bad it is, know that someone, somewhere else has it a lot worse. Be thankful you are not them.

2. Don’t go to the party looking for happiness, bring happiness to the party. Do the people around you suck? Then see #1 above. Your mood affects other people. Nasty people hate it when you are nice to them, it screws up their day.

3. Expect good things to happen. Expect the best and be prepared for the worst, that way you got both ends covered. It’s just as easy to think positively as it is to think negative. If you’re not used to thinking things will go your way, do it for five minutes. Then 10, notice the results.

4. Move around. Physical movement gets the blood flowing and helps clear the mind and recharges your batteries.

4. Smile more. Studies have shown the physical act of creating a smile makes us feel better.

5. If you feel scared or fearful, great, do it anyway. Anything unfamiliar is a bit scary, because IT"S UNFAMILIAR, so what. Take the challenge, you will feel better just for taking it. Total success is not the goal, facing the challenge is.  SocreBasketball legend Larry Bird said he was painfully nervous before every game.  “Horrible feeling,” he said and then went out there to be the best anyway.
