DON’T MISS A SINGLE PODCAST EPISODE ON ITUNES: We are aware that the archives for the podcast show at iTunes are completely missing right now and my producer Kevin Kennedy-Spaien is voraciously working on this. We’re working very hard on getting that back as quickly as possible, so no need to be concerned. Please visit the new podcast feed to subscribe and access all the new episodes of my podcast show on iTunes. We are being diligent at moving all the old archives over from the original podcast site to the new one at TheLivinLowCarbShow.com/ShowNotes. THANKS again for your continued patience as we work through this process.

Nina Planck has lots of “real food” tips for pregnancy and babies

A few weeks back, Christine and I recorded this YouTube video about the real foods that are available to you like real grass-fed beef, pastured eggs, locally-grown organic veggies, and raw milk. When you eat these higher-quality foods as part of your healthy low-carb lifestyle, there’s just something good about the knowledge of knowing you are eating the best foods you possibly can. One of the biggest advocates for this way of eating is here today for an interview to talk about incorporating these delicious “real foods” into your diet, especially when you are pregnant or have a new baby in your home.

In Episode 269 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,” we hear from author Nina Planck who wrote a fantastic book in 2007 called Real Food: What To Eat And Why. Now she’s back with a brand new book for pregnant women and the babies they are having called Real Food For Mother And Baby: The Fertility Diet, Eating for Two, and Baby’s First Foods. In today’s interview, you’ll hear her talk about her story of eating a “healthy” low-fat diet, why she changed to eating a genuinely healthy real food low-carb lifestyle, the purpose of eating real foods over the garbage you buy in grocery stores, what the inspiration was for the new book for moms and little ones, what a fertility diet REALLY looks like, what the myths of a fertility diet are and why, and so much more! ENJOY this chat with one of the best in the business.

There are three ways you can listen to Episode 269:
