I want to be clear, when I talk about Conversations with the Archangel Gabriel, that I’m not talking about a vision. Nor am I talking about anyone “channeling” anything. When I say Gabriel walks among us, I mean that he walks among us in the flesh. Even my first encounter with Gabriel, with all it’s energy, brilliance and power, was embodied, and it was during the research for the Eddie Benitez Story, Angels on My Stage.  After that first appearance, he would simply show up dressed to suit the weather, so to speak. In other words, the initial energy sparks, brilliance and angelic-looking attire were part of showing me who he was, as was the personal revelations to me. All of this with Eddie to establish the credibility of his story of years of talking with Gabriel, as well as other angels and spirits. There have been ongoing global proofs as well as proofs closer to home. Even after his identity was established, we always would ask, “do you believe that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh,” a question he always met with a resounding “yes.” I found him more like seeing the archangel Michael as portrayed by John Travolta in the movie Michael, than a supernatural presence. Remember, there is a true line in the bible says we should be careful how we treat strangers, because we never know, we might be “entertaining angels unaware!”  They can look like one of us.

Gabriel walks among us, in the flesh, here on earth. He comes and goes with a mission, or many missions, to accomplish. He is a messenger.

Gabriel wants to convey spiritual teachings from the heavens, to encourage faith in God, and also to give warnings to the people of the world, and prophecies. How this fits into an autobiography of a famous musician is that Eddie Benitez is that Gabriel has been an angelic friend of the legendary guitarist for many years, and he is a part of Eddie’s own story. Eddie has been seeing and communicating with angels, spirits, and yes, dead people, since childhood. The angels and a group of other spirits—elders Eddie knows them as, have told him to write this book—his story, and with it, Gabriel’s conversations. My role is scribe to the musician and to Gabriel, and so I have had the honor and the task of listening, and now writing, the story.  I have become convinced in these many months of research of the authenticity of the angels and spirits, and in particular, of the authenticity of Gabriel and what he has to tell the world.

And so, as the book Angels on My Stage:The Eddie Benitez Story unfolds, I have also been asked to give readers a glimpse of what the section of that book, “Interviews with Gabriel,” will contain. While the first two sections of the book bring Eddie's first person story to life, the last section, the conversations that take place with Eddie AND with Gabriel, take the form of interview as I meet with the Angel and the musician. The book flows in three parts: Part 1, Legendary Jazz Guitarist; Part 2, The Paranormal is Normal (the true paranormal adventures of Eddie's life); and Part 3, Interview with Gabriel.

According to Gabriel, a lot of things that are commonly believed are myths, and a lot of things disbelieved are true.  Much of the bible, for example, is to be disregarded — written by men, with their own ideas. Though there are parts of the bible truly inspired by God, it is much less than the whole.  The gospels themselves have been greatly overlaid with the additions of the writers for their own agendas and motives.

Religion, according to Gabriel, does not come from God.  Period. No religion.  What does religion do, is the question Gabriel asked both me and his musician friend.  The answer is, "religion divides."  The one thing religion has always done — is divide people. Cause wars. Cause hatred and prejudice and all manner of harm.  “Who,” asked Gabriel, “would be the creator of something that divides God’s children?”  The answer is certainly not God, but an evil power, Satan himself.  Gabriel has been adamant that the path that human beings are called to is one of spirituality, not religion.  A path of faith in the one God, and in the Son of God, Jesus.  The path  that people are now being called to is the next step — beyond religion — into true spirituality and oneness with God.  Religion not only divides, it is an attempt to control people. It is about power.  Human beings have come far enough in history now to come out from religion and into spirituality.

On the other hand, Gabriel is deeply troubled by all that he sees in the world, the hatred, wars, inhumanity, poverty and illness everywhere.  Without a major shift among the people of the world, the archangel does see humans creating their own cataclysmic tragedy.  It’s not too late to change the course of humanity, but time is very short for that change.

Gabriel has teachings about religion in more detail, about the bible, and he also has teachings about healing — natural methods of healing, and ways to bring healing to others.

The archangel has revelations about Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus, husband of Mary. Who was he, really? This is something that will be quite controversial, as will a number of the assertions of Gabriel. But they make sense. Is it possible Joseph was more than just a man? Where did Joseph disappear to, and why doesn’t he say a word in scripture? There are revelations about Paul and his apostleship, which was not legitimate according to the angel. And those lost years of Jesus, where was he? Elijah and other Old Testament prophets are discussed, and so are apparitions of Mary—which are true, and which are not?  And very importantly, how should we pray?

According to Gabriel, there is only ONE prayer. That’s it.  It’s the one Jesus taught—the Lord’s Prayer.  And when you end it, “ . . . and deliver us from evil . . .” — the prayer should have these personal words attached — “Father I believe in thee, I love thee, I belong to thee.”

That is the whole prayer, and the only prayer.

And there is, according to Gabriel, only one thing to ask for ourselves in prayer, beyond the Our Father, and that is STRENGTH.  Don’t ask for money, for healing specifically, for material goods or success, ask only for STRENGTH.  In blessing us with strength, God’s will for us will follow with the other things we need.  Gabriel stresses this over and over.  If you are sick, pray for strength in it.  If you are poor, pray for strength.  If you are in any kind of turmoil or need, pray for strength.  The rest will take care of itself.  Have faith.  Faith is the most important thing. With faith, there will be healing, change, transformation.  In God’s way, and in God’s time.
