Barry Manilow has decided that he could use $10,900,000 better than having a house on Malibu Beach. The 4 bedroom square contemporary has a matching one bedroom guest house on the oceanfront.
The ocean views are dramatic - day or night - and the huge glass window walls are meant to give Barry Manilow, or the next owner, a magnificent view of the Pacific.
The Real Estalker revealed yesterday reports that the home has already had a price cut from $12.6 million to $10.9 million but Manilow paid $3.85 million in 2002 so this might be a "make me an offer" type Malibu beach house.
Some of the Estalker's commenters are questioning if this location will earn this kind of asking price. If you are a beach walker you might be turned off by lack of access to the waterfront.
There is a gallery attached to this post which has more photos,
but follow this link for the virtual tour of the home.
As with all Malibu beach homes, privacy comes from staring at the ocean and not from the land surrounding your home. These luxury homes are as close to zero lot lines as you can get still attract the stars like Barry Manilow.
