Apple probably isn't going to like this.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it has been done.

Before we head on to the news, let’s make it clear that while this is great news for those looking to do it, using a jailbreak is not condoned whatsoever, so please, do this at your own risk.

According to the news over at Gizmodo, through various other sources, it has been confirmed that a jailbreak has been released for the iPhone 3G S, something many of its users have been craving since it came out a few weeks ago.

Apparently it works fine and is very simple to do. There have been a few problems that have popped up including loss of Wi-Fi, a lack of a service provider signal and some freezing being the most commonly reported issues, but for the most part, it seems that this jailbreak is both faster and easier than many of the previous ones.

So far, this is the only known jailbreak for the 3G S and while it was originally reported to be a web based exploit, it actually is a program. There has also been a lack of testing, probably because of the 4th of July weekend, but once more facts and tests become available, look for them here.

Again guys, this is just news, not a recommendation to do the jailbreak. So please, do your homework and research and read before you attempt to do this.
