Today is the final day of the Wendy's third annual Father's Day Frosty Weekend, giving families an opportunity to support the cause of adoption through creating a free Father's Day card online or buying a Frosty product in any of the franchise locations nationwide. For the remainder of today, Wendy's will donate 50 cents from any Frosty product purchased to go to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a non-profit public charity dedicated to increasing the number of foster children adoptions in North America. Customers may also donate by purchasing a Frosty pin-up for $1each at area locations.

In addition, this year Wendy's is starting a new tradition for their Father's Day fundraiser. Children my now go to FrostyCard.com and create their own customized Father's Day card free-of-charge. For each card that is sent,  Wendy's will donate 25 cents to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Children may choose from a variety of styles and scenes to customize their card for Dad, or may choose from a pre-designed card from a celebrity, such as Eva Longoria, Mario Lopez, and Alonzo Mourning.

The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption was created by Wendy's founder Dave Thomas, who was adopted as a child. After raising more than $1 million in 2007 and over $1.5 million in 2008 during Father's Day Frosty Weekend, Wendy's goal for this year is $1.7 million!
