The general manager of the rock group Black Eyed Peas, Polo Molina, has been charged with assault by Toronto police today in the alleged beating of website gossip columnist Perez Hilton.
TMZ reports that Toronot police would not allow the Black Eyed Peas to leave Canada unless Molina cooperated. The Peas are on tour, so being detained in Canada would have compromised their schedule.
According to the report on TMZ Hilton is going to press charges.
