From the Philippines to Mexico, From Japan to the United States fans have been claiming to have been visited by Michael's spirit.
One such story coming from Manila in the Philippines has captured the imagination of local radio audiences.
Angelina Ramos, aged 38, a beautician and Manila native has been a serious Jackson fan 'all her life'. Last year never-married Angelina contracted a rare blood disease. Doctors gave her a ninety percent chance of not surviving for more than a year.
Angelina was shattered when her hero died. Two days after Jackson's passing Angelina woke up at night and felt a presence in her bedroom. She sat up and felt a hand pull her back down. She looked up and she saw her hero.
'He looked radiant, at peace, absolutely beautiful. It was Michael for sure. He had a warm smile on his on his face' said Angelina.
'I was both stunned and at the same time uplifted'
'He then touched my face and told me that my problems are over. He said I have nothing to worry about and that I should not be sad for him either for he has gone to a wonderful place and his pain too is now gone'.
'The next day I went to the doctor for the usual check-up. The doctor came out and told me that my disease was in remission. He was so surprised. He said he could not undersand but I should be jumping for joy'
'Michael cured me' concluded Angelina.
Paranormal personality Michael Cohen noted that 'Many such events will be dreams and we can expected many more of these stories. If Michael Jackson brings comfort to so many of his fans we should not be too skeptical. Of course, some of these events may well be real'.
Other fans are claiming they have had their own sightings.
Since the passing of Michael Jackson thousands of distraught fans around the world have found comfort in alleged personal sightings of Michael Jackson's ghost.
Such sightings have been reported on every continent. From Japan to the Philippines, Sweden to Spain, South Africa to Nigeria and Brazil to the US devastated fans are claiming that Michael Jackson has paid them a post-mortem visit.
Unsurprisingly, a large share of these claims have come from the US.
Sally-Anne, aged 27, of Newark was 'broken' by the news that her idol died.
'A friend rang me and I just dropped the phone and cried. Later I just put on his CDs and kept playing them but it didn't take away the pain. The next night I swear I saw Michael above my bed smiling, and I knew he was telling me all would be OK'.
Not all of the sightings are happening in the US.
Japanese fan Hiromi had a very different experience. She too was crushed by the news of Jackson's passing.
'I was on a train and I saw Michael in the crowd, he smiled at me in a boyish way. I looked again and he was gone. It was definitely him: I felt his presence'.
One thing is certain, something that no one can deny - the impact that MJ has left on his fans is apparent, and his effect on music is incomparable.
