Warhawk cover.

Friday marks the two year anniversary of Warhawk launching on the Playstation 3 in North America. Even today, the chaotic 32-player multiplayer game is one of the most played titles on the Playstation Network.

Dylan Jobe, the director of the game, thanked fans on his personal Twitter page and also promised that his next project won’t disappoint:

Thank you everyone for the kind words about Warhawk and it's 2-year anniversary!

The team and I love the fact that so many people around the world still play and have gotten hundreds of hours of fun!

So...THANK YOU! We can't wait to show all our fans, and new players too, what we've been working on! You won't be disapponted :-)

After the completion of Warhawk and its expansion packs, Dylan Jobe and several other members of the development team left Incognito Entertainment to form LightBox Interactive. Recently, Sony trademarked “Starhawk,” which appears to be a sequel to Warhawk. LightBox Interactive is rumored to be working on Starhawk.
