The Margarita is a classic drink, and possibly the single most popular tequila cocktail. The basic mixture of lime and margarita also goes well with any number of fruits or berries to make an almost endless number of variations.

Purists would argue that the Strawberry Margarita isn't a "real" Margarita, and maybe they're right. But who cares? This recipe is easy and delicious, and with warm weather and fresh berries coming on, what better time to put that blender to work?

The Best Strawberry Margarita

  • 1 1/2 oz. tequila
  • 1/2 oz. triple sec
  • juice of half a lime
  • 2 strawberries

Combine all ingredients in a blender with 4 -5 ice cubes, and process until smooth. Pour into a margarita glass. Serve garnished with a strawberry on the rim.
