According to the SIFF site, “The largest film festival in the US presents 392 films in 25 days, with 89 premieres and more than 600 screenings.” The 35th Seattle International Film Festival features films from more than 55 countries and takes place May 21 - June 14, 2009 at various Seattle venues.
For the uninitiated, going to a SIFF movie showing for the first time can be both trying and overwhelming, but the end result (meaning, the film itself) is usually worth the time and effort.
