Fenn Valley Vineyards and Wine Cellar is located at 6130 122nd Ave in Fennville (south of Holland). The family-owned, 230 acre farm first planted grape vines in 1974. Here is part of their story:
"Our vineyards are planted to traditional European wine varieties that were carefully selected for their ability to thrive in our cool northern climate. Modern viticultural techniques are applied to each vine so that the unique combination of climate and soil are expressed in the grapes and the wines. At their peak of ripeness, our grapes are harvested and converted into wine in our underground cellar, using an artful balance of old world tradition and up-to-date technology. Our goal is to capture a little of the beauty of the lakeshore region in every bottle of our wine. "
There is a tasting room at the Vineyards and also at 310 Butler Street in Saugatuck.
