'Guiding Light' - Overheard at the 'Keepers of the Light Cafe' (Volume 2)

LISTEN UP LIFETIME
I realize the Keepers of the Light Café has been suddenly dark, but this doesn’t mean I abandoned the Guiding Light at all. You see, I am new to the café business and when I went to unlock the doors the other day, some soapish things occurred. The coffee maker was on the fritz, Larry the dishwasher called in sick, I discovered Ariel, my main waitress inside the walk-in refrigerator warming up the Fred, the UPS guy who was only supposed to drop off the payroll as opposed to his pants and it was too overwhelming to go on.
The coffee maker is working once again, Ariel and Larry the dishwasher are history, payroll will now come via my computer and the coffee maker is humming once again.
Today’s Keepers of the Light Café morning coffee bulletin features some of your best comments about the rumor circulating about Lifetime being interested in taking on Springfield. Somebody needs to get that this show is so hot fans will follow it to any venue.

Note to Stephiedee – Lifetime would go down in history if they picked up this show. The ‘chick channel’ also does a super job promoting all of their shows, so it could be a great fit.

Thanks to all for posting great comments. This feature will be more frequent in the future now that I got rid of Larry the dishwasher and Ariel. Anyone want to waitress here?
