Madonna

Madonna Louise Ciconne, "Madonna," has quite a few coals in the fire.  According to Harretz one of her next projects is a documentary about the Israeli-Arab conflict (the Arab-Israel impasse).

Madonna told sources that her project would focus on children.  This would involve collaborting with director Nathan Rissman, who once served as her gardener and her childrens' nanny.

Lucky Cockcroft says that Madonna wants to make a film about Wallis Simpson, the divorcee whose relationship with King Edward VIII led him to advocate the throne.  According to Madonna,

Simpson was a socalite who caused an international crisis."

Madonna wants to make the film to tell the story of how he, Edward, gave up the position of King of England, after less than a year, to marry the twice divorced Mrs. Simpson in 1936.

Madonna is as passionate about this story as she was playing Eva Peron in Evita.
