The battle for Earth has ended, but the battle for the universe has just begun.  After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons and has decided to return to Earth with force in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

Revenge is coming."

The autobots, believing that peace was possible, find out that Megatron's dead body has been stolen from the United State's Military by Skorpinox.  He revives him using his own spark.  Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own,

may have more to deal with then meets the eye." 

Tons of cast and characters will grace the screen, some new, and those not so new and have survived may be back as well, a few among them are Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky), Transformer's Megan Fox Megan Fox (Mikaela Banes), Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson (soldiers), William Lennox (Army Ranger Captain), Robert Epps (Air Force Technical Sergeant), John Turturro (Reggie Simmons), Rachael Taylor (Maggie Madsen), Anthony Anderson (Glen Whitmann)...  Recap on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Actor Shia LaBeouf is the teenager who unknowingly buys Bumblebee as his first car.  One reason he got the part was that he reminded the filmmakers of othe young Tom Hanks.  LaBeouf worked out five days a week for three months and gained twenty-five pounds of muscle when preparing for the role.  He found out during the shoot that his part required more agility then strength! 

LaBeouf performed his own stunts and only had a safety harness on in the scene in which Sam clings to a statue as Megatron approaches.  LaBeouf saying of himself,

There are action stars who wouldn't have been as dumb."

Megan Fox , herself, gained ten pounds of muscle during shooting to support the physicality of the role.

Spielberg, one of the producers (executive), encouraged Director Michael Bay to restrict computer-generated imagery to the robots and background in the action sequences.  Bay said, concerning the level of detail he wanted for the robots,

I just didn't want to make the boxy characters.  It's boring, and it would look fake.  By adding more doo-dads and stuff on the robots, more car parts, you can just make it more real."
