The 2009 CineVegas Film Festival kicks off June 11th with the premiere of St. John of Las Vegas. The film is about an ex-gambler who is lured back into the game by a veteran insurance-fraud investigator.Celebrities expected at the premiere include the movie's stars Sarah Silverman, Romany Malco, Jesse Garcia and festival executive Dennis Hopper. Red carpet arrivals begin at 6:30 pm, Planet Hollywood Casino Resort CHI Theater, 3667 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas.
Other highlights of this year's fest include Obama Hater Jon Voight receiving the Marquee Award and Willem DaFoe receiving the Vanguard Actor Award.
