Much adieu has been made about whether The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Little Ashes, and How To Be star Robert Pattinson should take on the lead role in 2011's Memoirs, a love story.
Memoirs, which is being written to screenplay by Will Fetters, according to Hollywood Reporter has been on the Robert Pattinson fans' watch-list for quite some time as his status on the project continues to be unknown and the production company Underground Films and Management has returned no comment on that point.
However, recently, Robert Pattinson's status on the project might have changed - he is no longer "rumor"-ed on IMDb's listing for the film. Not long ago, we saw that Summit Entertainment (the company responsible for distribution of the Twilight series films in the U.S.) was named as the distributor for Memoirs as well. Furthermore, Hollywood Reporter also broke the news that Summit Entertainment executive Brandy Rivers, who "previously served an exec on the production side at Summit, where she worked on projects such as Twilight," was "brought on as a production exec by emerging shingle Underground Films & Management."
UPDATE: One theory being thrown around that I toyed with, but which PB and Pattinson Anonymous have solidified is the idea that the so-called Remember Me project which Rob has been attached to, apparently, is just a renaming of the film Memoirs. What do you think of that? (See here for more on this.)
So, do you think this means it's going to be official any day now? Comment below and let us know!
