For what it's worth I am still trying to find my feet here at Christian Worldview Examiner.
Yeah, for sure, I should know what I want to do all the time. But, I don't. Do you? Me, neither.
I have so many directions I would like to go, so many things I think are worthy of seeing in print and I happen to think God, through His word, has something to say about almost everything...or is it everything?
One of the places I happen on is Google Trends. I wander to the site to see what folks are searching for on Goliath, um, Google. Then think to myself, I wonder what the Bible has to say about that.
I do think the Bible has something to say about everything.
When I was a youth preacher many moons ago, we did this thing called "Sermon in a sack." The kids were asked to hide something, anything in a sack. They would then present it to me during the worship service at which time I had three minutes to think of how the object reminded me of God. Worms, buttons, pins...all sorts of things were put in the bag. They all remind us in some way of God.
In this way, whatever is going on in the world, I think the Word of God has something to say about it. I will look at Google trends and pick a topic. The reader might think - what's that doing on CWE? By the time they are done, I hope they learn what it is the Bible says about the topic.
Challenge - send me a topic, give me three minutes from the time I see it and I'll tell you what God and/or the Bible has to say about it.
