Have you heard of fiber optic technology? Mercedes has been using fiber optics in their vehicles since around the turn of the millennium. They invest tons of money into research and development, which gives us the ultimate burnout video machine. Mercedes has always had a rear wheel drive dominant vehicle line. Rear wheel drive when assisted by the proper traction technology yields a better driving experience. Features like ESP can keep the vehicle stuck to the road by applying the correct brake pressure to the proper wheel, and power to the proper wheel to maintain optimal traction. Turning off the ESP on some models allows the tire roasting action to begin!

The first video of a Mercedes burnout shows the popular CLS63 AMG (W211) roasting the tires. The most popular video on YouTube with around 230,000 views, this vehicle comes stock with 6.2 liter V8 engine turning out 514 horsepower and 465 foot pounds of torque. This is plenty to roast the 19 inch five spoke allow rims that come standard on US models. A quick press of the ESP button relieving the technology of it's duties, and the fun begins. Ripping and shredding the rubber into a blend of asphalt and melted petroleum byproduct, the Mercedes burnout video below is a treat for the senses!
