Barbara Walters to interview Ryan ONeal on 20 20

Barbara Walters on the ABC talk show The View gave viewers a sneak peek of her upcoming 20/20 interview with Ryan O’Neal, the long time partner of actress Farrah Fawcett who has terminal cancer.
It has always been a mystery why the couple, who were together for 19 years and remained friends even after they broke up as a couple.Ryan O’Neal stated that it was Farrah who did not want to marry him. Barbara Walters said that the answer to that question would be revealed in the broadcast of the 20/20 interview.
ONeal said that he used to ask Farrah Fawcett to marry him “all the time.” He promised that the couple would be married, as soon as she can say yes.
O’Neal joked that when he asked Farrah to marry him that last time she just said “Prenup.” He laughed that he always tried to make Farrah laugh.
O’Neal also said that he had already picked out his wedding outfit, describing it as “Like a gigolo, you know? And a little thin mustache and slicked back hair.”
