This Veterans Day, Smithsonian Channel debuts a six part series on World War II that is comprised of footage that the American public has never seen before. This film is not the stock, newsreel or propaganda footage that the world had become all too familiar with seeing. This is provocative WWII footage filmed by those who witnessed the war first-hand. This is the shocking footage deemed ‘unfit’ for civilians to see. Until now!

Apocalypse is an epic presentation will forever change the way we look at the Second World War, with extraordinary footage that has been restored, colorized and transferred to stunning high definition.
