Professor Layton ships to stores

Nintendo has announced that the second mind-bending installment of the Professor Layton franchise, Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box has shipped to stores.

The game features more than 150 new puzzles and an overarching story that revolves around the mysterious Elysian Box.

“Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box draws players in with its compelling storyline and animation, but that’s just the beginning,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing in the official release. “The captivating and challenging riddles keep players saying ‘I need to try just one more puzzle.’ ”

Nintendo is also offering free bonus puzzles to all players who connect their DS or DSi to a broadband internet connection this week.
