YIKES! TODAY IS ST. PATRICK'S DAY! Do you have your menu and recipes ready yet? You have the corned beef, but you've never cooked one before? What about Irish Soda Bread? Here's some good & easy recipes for St. Patrick's Day. May Irish eyes be smiling on you, and have a pint for me!

St. Patrick's Day Menu & Recipes

  • Homemade Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur - Making your own thick & creamy Irish Cream is easier than you think with this fool-proof recipe. Just throw all the ingredients together, whisk and chill. Serve it on the rocks for the ultimate St. Patty's Day drink!
  • Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner - OMG! This recipe is amazing! The tender corned beef is pulled out of the water a little early and slathered with a honey and mustard glaze to finish in the oven. Simply awesome!
  • Irish Beef Stew with Guinness Beer - This stew is made with a generous amount of stew beef, Guinness Beer and red wine. Add potatoes, carrots, onion and spices, and you'll have an awesome Irish Stew tasty enough for St. Patty himself!
  • Irish Soda Bread - You can't celebrate St. Patrick's Day without a slice of traditional Irish Soda Bread. Have it for breakfast with a cup of Irish Breakfast Tea.
  • Healthy Irish Soda Bread - Looking for a healthier Irish Soda Bread? This delicious bread is made with honey and King Arthur's Unbleached White Whole Wheat Flour. Add some raisins or get crazy with craisins, and have a slice with honey!
  • White Chocolate Baileys Irish Cream Cheesecake - Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with an over-the-top, ultra-rich White Chocolate Baileys Irish Cream Cheesecake baked in an Oreo Cookie crust! Sounds simply decadent doesn't it?
  • White Chocolate Irish Cream Mousse Pie - Whip up an easy Irish Cream Mousse Pie for St. Patrick's Day! Pile this fluffy Baileys mousse in a graham cracker or flaky pie crust and decorate it with white chocolate shavings.
  • A Pint of Guinness or Murphy's Stout - An ice cold pint of Irish beer to wash it all down. Cans, bottles and on tap, it doesn't get much better than this!
  • Last Minute St. Paddy's Goodies

And remember, if you're running late and can't get to everything you had planned, most big markets have all the fixin's in their ready-made section. Our local market, Dave's Maketplace, has the most amazing take-out deli. They'll be sure to have corned beef & cabbage. The local liquor store has Baileys Irish Cream and cold Irish beer waiting for you in the cooler. Your bakery down the street probably has their version of Irish Soda Bread and an Irish Cream Cheesecake. If they don't, there's always the Irish Pub down the road!
