Adam Lambert and Zac Efron dating?

Is this a date or a publicity stunt?
The Interweb is abuzz tonight with speculation that Adam Lambert and Zac Efron are dating.
Unzipped.net got ahold of a cell phone photo of Zac and Adam having dinner together. Zac's beard and High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens was also in attendance, but that didn't stop tongues from wagging:
Wow! This is probably the worst cell phone pic in the history of cell phone pics, BUT STILL.
We don't know how this was all arranged (apparently the romantic outing was sometime last month), but when you're Zac Efron, you get whatever you want, and clearly he wanted Adam Lambert to dine with him. We have so many questions! (e.g., Who paid? Did they bump feet under the table? Did they eat, or were they both too nervous?)"
I'm not quite sure what to make of this. Any thoughts?
