Disney World Monorail in Orlando, Florida

It is being reported that there was a collision of two monorail trains early this morning at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The collision took place at approximately 2:00 am.

One person was killed, a train operator, when the train he was driving ran into the rear end of another (stationary) train.

The monorail system has reportedly been shut down while law enforcement officials investigate the incident. Disney officials will then decide, based on the information, how to proceed.

There were no other injuries reported, though one family that was on the train was badly shaken.
