Kevin Ferguson, a.k.a. Kimbo Slice, discusses his future plans for his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighting career, including being on another UFC fight card, his training with American Top Team in Miami and his knee issues in the video interview below.
After being featured on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 10 and fighting on the TUF 10 Finale main card, Slice can certainly be credited with improving the ratings on Spike TV thanks to his previous career as street fighter and youtube sensation.
Although his first UFC bout against Alexander Houston (watch the FIGHT VIDEO) resulted in a win for Slice and improved his professional MMA record to 4-1, critics are still voicing concerns about his lack of technical MMA fighting skills, especially on UFC level.
Slice, on the other hand, worries about his health issues, in particular his knee which started bothering him while he was still on the reality show. In order to fight at 100 percent he needs his body to be injury-free. Nevertheless, he does admit that there is still room for improving his fight game and becoming a more well-rounded MMA fighter.
