It's Fall, the air is alive but prickling with a certain unease. The harvest is over and the light of the Sun is receding ~ each year as the Sun enters the sign of Scorpio, nature is dying ~ reminding us that winter will soon arrive.
Halloween, the gateway to winter, connects us to life in a way that possibly only those with a strong dose of Scorpio or it's ruler Pluto can truly appreciate or understand.
Scorpio, as the archetype of transformation, understands the dynamics of the soul and it's seasons. The Scorpio calling is to investigate the eternal mysteries of life and death by deeply probing those things that are frighting and incomprehensible.
When we enter Scorpio, the realm of Pluto ~ gate keeper of the underworld ~ we are confronted by life's secrets and mysteries ~ espionage, classified information, scary horror movies, detective novels, hidden motives, sex, death, unexpressed emotions, and all those thoughts, words and actions considered taboo.
Halloween reminds that there are things unmentionable or that lurk about unseen during the light of day ~ things like , evil, magic, monsters, witches, goblins, vampires, werewolfs, zombies, mummies, ghosts, spirits and demons.
Ancient practitioners of Halloween entered Pluto's realm when they sought wisdom through exploring the dimensions beyond death, before death, and between lives.
Modern Ghost Hunters carry on this tradition
There are several reality shows on television that deal with filming actual ghosts and hauntings ~ most notably the Sci-Fi Channel's “Ghost Hunter' and the Travel Channel's Haunted Travels ~ both have managed to obtain some pretty scary videos.
Are they real or fake? Who knows? But they're fun to watch.
In honor of Halloween, Pluto invites you to pass through the gate, enter Scorpio and connect with the invisible world with-in this world ~ that place where ghosts, spirits and demons reside.
