As North Korea continues firing missiles, it has put Obama in a position of having to crawl on his knees for help from China and Russia. In other words, Obama has already "lost face" in the Oriental world and it will haunt him and the United States for the rest of his presidency.
As soon as Obama began traveling the world, apologizing for America's past actions, North Korea got his number. He was a "girly, girly man," in the words used once used by the Governor of California in describing another politician with no spine. Why should North Korea listen to a politician from the bowels of Chicago politics who obviously disparaged his own country?
If North Korea needed any more evidence of Obama's weakness, it had only to look at the weekend trip of the discredited Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who dared not even mention human rights on her visit to China. And who discredited the CIA whose only crime was trying to protect America from terrorists?
It is not lost on North Korea that Obama came away from the G20 and and G8 empty handed. The only the success he has had is to run up the greatest deficit in American history and bankrupt the country during his first 100 days in office and at the same time is cutting defense missile spending.
Citing its approach to North Korea, Iran, South Asia, the Middle East, China and Burma, veteran India-based analyst Bahukutumbi Raman said the new administration was giving the impression that it lacks the will to respond decisively if "problem states" act in ways detrimental to U.S. interests and international peace and security.
What has North Korea to fear from the United States from an inept, inexperienced politician who heads the government and surrounds himself with people like himself? And what has Iran learned from the North Korean-United States experience? How long before missiles from either country land on American territory?
